You are not boring. You have to remember that alot of us don't get to see Japan like you do. It always feels like I am visiting a friend and we are spending the day together, for me anyway. I love the goatee.
your videos really motivate me to do more, i'm 25 recently unemployed after moving house and often wake up around 12 sometimes 2 because im just not used to deciding my own schedule. i love seeing that you work from home because you make your self get up early, work hard, exercise, eat healthy and still have a social life.! thats great
Hi Grace, I do enjoy these day in my life videos. There's something very pleasant about seeing other people's lifestyles. One thing I must admit I am envious of is how organised you are as a household. Maybe you can do a video with some tips on how you manage all that, 'cos I have absolutely NO self-discipline! :P
Lies! You guys are interesting in the cute, down to earth way. I usually watch a lot of crazy videos, but once in a while it's nice to just sit down and relax while watching a relaxing video, so thank you both! :)
You look really beautiful without make-up and yes, you ARE interesting! Sometimes I get a little anxious when I think of moving to Japan in a couple of months all by myself, and your videos make me forget about my anxiety and focus on the excitement :D
I like how you are shocked that so many people watch your videos lol I don't think that you are boring. I love all your videos! You have helped me in my preparations for Japan and I cannot wait to go!
Do love the " day in my life " vids ! Fun when you both go shopping or exploring and say funny stuff about what you find and do..... You are both good with the camera and explain things well----the sense of humor is wonderful !!!!! keep em coming ! Deanna in Michigan......
Hey Grace! I'm currently watching from Kyoto, as I'm here during my semester abroad. I love watching your videos because I've already learnt so much! And it is so great to see you living your life in Japan, as I love it here so much! Your videos are very down-to-earth and I love them! Keep it up please :) And your husband is just hilarious! :))
i'm getting more and more obsessed with your vids.. they just give an impression of being happy with little things and thats what make them so interesting to watch.. and inspiring! thanks :)
(chuckles) You *are* that interesting! Especially for somebody who would one day love to live in Japan AND write their own books. You both radiate happiness and health. It's very refreshing & inspiring
It is very interesting :-). You two have lots of fun and it's pretty cool how you two share your adventures. Because you wish to inspired people and also help yourselves out many different ways but as well help people out.
i wanted to thank you for the videos, i know you asked why we watch them ..but it really encourages me to watch a day in your life, because i also work from home and seeing how you motivate yourself or that you feel similarly makes me realize i'm not going crazy. feeling less alone in doing a similar thing is always encouraging so thank you very much
I love your videos! I don't know why but they make me happy!! The fact that both of you and Ryouske are above board and funny is such an amazing thing in couples :) I hope that you live happily ever after! :)
Thank you for these videos, Grace! I'm a fellow Texan, and I'm leaving for Tokyo this Sunday for a ten day vacation! I've been watching all your videos and getting excited! Whoop!
I found your channel a couple of days ago and I really like it! I was actually born and raised in Tokyo and now in middle of nowhere in the US, so I do miss Tokyo and Japan. It's quite refreshing and enjoyable to see Japan through your perspective. 応援してます!
thamnori Oh thanks!! being in the middle of nowhere was fun for me! I took off my shirt and ran ran ran, feeling sexy/proud!! haha, anyways, Have lots of fun there for meee :) (Ryosuke)
The bunny is so cute! I find these videos fascinating, mainly because I think that you and Ryosuke are just to stinkin' cute. Also, with the fact that my husband and I are wanting to move to Japan in a few years time, this is fun to see how a life in Japan goes (considering I want to be a writer of novels). Keep up the amazing work!
Hey Grace and Ryosuke[x I've loved all of your videos I've watched so far! (I've been on kind of a Texan in Tokyo binge today) The "Why You Should Live Abroad" video really struck something inside me that has made me actually desire to go to university (which I've been highly against for the past few years) and learn Japanese. I really just wanted to say thank you for sharing your life and experiences with the world!♥
this guy likes your vids because i have been there 5 times so far for work, love the place and like to see what other people think and are doing there. its been a few yrs since my last trip over there but im going the end of this month to saga!! someplace i have never been before for a few days of machine acceptance trials. its work but its also a good time just going over there again. never ever had a bad time there in japan. bonus...i get to fly the dreamliner nonstop from boston to narita and back...woooo hooo...keep em coming you two we all love the vids you make
You're insanely beautiful without makeup. So dont let anybody fool you. And Ryosuke is the best, for pointing that out. (Most guys dont like women wearing makeup every day!) Also its longterm better to go without makeup. You will look wonderful for many many more years. Skin ages extreme with makeup use.
That ''spinach and egg thing'' looked sooo good. I got hungry. This is now the 6th video i watch in a row. Just found your channel today. Keep up the good work!
Just foudn your channel through Rachel and Jun's and I absolutely love your videos!! Definitely picking up all your comics to support you guys, please keep posting!!! :)
Hi! I just wanted to say I really enjoy ur videos, specially the daily life ones. You guys r so adorable! Also I think u have good productivity habits, which is inspiring! Can you make a work and productivity tips video, like morning routine-rituals and how to wake up early, etc? :)
even if you don't do much within a video/day, you're still a really likable and adorable person! so I feel like people are always going to be curious as to what you (and your husband) are up to 😊 I'm addicted to watching your videos hehe
Just a little bit of useful information: Ciao (pronounced as Chao or Чао in Bulgarian) is officially used both in Italy and Bulgaria. In Bulgaria it's used only as common goodbye. In Italy on the other hand it's used both for common greeting as goodbye. Back to the comment now. I really like your videos! With every new one I'm learning more about Japan which is a just awesome. Please, keep them coming. :D
We watch them cuz this life style is, I don't know; relaxing and different , this style is sooo rare to see, and you are so lucky to have it. Keep up posting videos they are so nice. Have a good day/night 👋🏻👋🏻🌼
Hi guys Texan in Tokyo , I found your channel through Rachel and Jun's channel and I absolutely love watching your videos. I was very happy to find a new video posted today and also received you're 2 first books a few minutes later. Grace and Ryouske overload! lol I was disappointed to find out they weren't signed copies though, my fault should have paid more attention to the description. But all in all very happy. I don't find your video boring at all, if anything it's one of those relaxing things i like to do when i come back from work. Keep it up, lots of love.
Grace"ing" us with your lovely smile and bright personality each time you upload a video. Jpop Dallas has shared your channel and blog on their fb page so I figured I'd pass the awesome news :D
Just found your channel, and I have to say I'm really enjoying your videos. As someone who's always wanted to visit Japan, they are fascinating. You're both pretty funny and genuine people. :)
I like this...a REAL day in the life...not always the fabulous life...but full of work/relationship and other menial daily stuffs. Keep it up. Still waiting for book 3 :)
That cage is way to small for a rabbit (at least in my opinion) and nothing to dig in D: In Sweden we have laws on how small the cage can be and what the cage need to include. Are there any pet protecting laws in Japan? like cage/aquarium sizes for hamsters, Rabbits, Snakes etc. or what the cage/aquarium should include?
I have the same beauty philosophy. It must be weird knowing people watch your lives. It's kind of like watching someone's life on TV except this is real, and that makes it a thousand times more interesting. My favorite thing about your channel is that you're so real, genuine, and I just love that. And you two are totally cute!! I'm binge watching your channel from Texas and missing my Japan. I swear you (Grace) look so familiar I thought I went to high school with you... but surely not. Keep making vids ✌
First video of yours I've watched (& subscribed) and I loved it. Also, you look great without make-up, I couldn't agree more with you on the fact that society makes us feel like we need it when we shouldn't. Love yourself as you naturally are.
You look gorgeous without makeup. I rarely wear makeup myself - dance concerts and cons are about it for me. We're interested in how you guys live cause it's fun to see how others live and it's interesting to see how Japan really is. Plus, you make your videos with so much fun and pep ^_^
I love these video's. Oddly enough I find them inspiring and motivating. I'm a full time single mum atm so I've had to put my dreams/craft business on hold until my boy starts school but I like watching your video's whilst I'm crafting or making amigurumi's. Plus I've always wanted to visit Japan but again a plan on temp hold so when I watch your video's I feel like I'm there in Japan ya know?
This is more than a year later, but as regards the bunny you were caring for, s/he should have hay! (You can pass this along to your friend). A good resource to visit is the House Rabbit Society FB page and website. I hope that little bunny is still doing fine. Also - nails need to be clipped the way they were clattering on the bottom of the cage!
Hahhaa, I work at home as well, it can be hard because differentiating work time and home time can be hard (at least for me), lol. I think that people have misconceptions of others who work at home, so seeing your daily life is refreshing and hopefully helpful to others who may or may not understand how working at home can be difficult too!
Texan in Tokyo Your attitude towards make-up is awesome! I wish my students felt that way. When 12 year old girls come to school caked in make-up & their school skirts rolled up so their underwear is almost showing I just want to cry. Women are better than that.
I come to watch these videos to experience another life. They're so honest. It's great. I keep sharing these videos with girlfriends. Okay, lady friends. So fun, the atmosphere, I love it.
It's funny that you live out in the country now, but it still looks like the city to me (I mean the part where you're near your home, not just the part in Tokyo). Japan is a crowded country.
Grace, can you ask Ryosuke to make a cooking video on the Spinach and Egg dish he made? It looks so good and I want to expand my food choices. I would love to learn how to make it for myself.
I started watching because of Rachel and Jun's channel :) And now I just really enjoy your channel even if you don't think it's interesting I do lol The little bunny is soo cute I always wanted a bunny ♥
I love when you do these videos! I was nodding like crazy when you were talking about not needing to wear make up. You inspired me to try have that mindset more. Ryosuke and you definitely also make me feel inspired to eat more cleanly when I can and enjoy outside more. Btw, I'm curious, what did you do with your bike when you got to the train station? Did you leave it locked up there?
Well that's certainly a reasonable price! I like the idea of a paid parking lot that takes bikes too. Where I live you can take a train into Chicago but it's probably not advised to leave your bike there for long periods of time.
you are awesome! and we watch because for some us japan lovers we get to see it through your eyes and always learn some intesting stuff in your videos, so plz keep them coming :D p.s i am from kurdistan
I'm also an illustrator and I enjoy the creative aspect of make up, more then the whole 'wearing make up to look acceptable'. Here in the UK, loads of women don't wear make up and no one really bats an eyelid. Personally I enjoy the fun of trying out a bright lipstick or matching my eyeshadow to my top. You could get your eyelashes dyed and then you wouldn't need to bother with mascara? You have really clear skin anyway so you don't need to suffocate it with foundation! :)
You are not boring. You have to remember that alot of us don't get to see Japan like you do. It always feels like I am visiting a friend and we are spending the day together, for me anyway. I love the goatee.
Tammy halterman Hahahaha, thanks. Me too!
your videos really motivate me to do more, i'm 25 recently unemployed after moving house and often wake up around 12 sometimes 2 because im just not used to deciding my own schedule. i love seeing that you work from home because you make your self get up early, work hard, exercise, eat healthy and still have a social life.! thats great

Alfonso Padua I am in 2017" I started watching 2 months before they announced they were stopping.
I think my favorite thing about your "day in the life" videos are the yummy, healthy food you guys prepare and eat! ^_^
You're fine without makeup!! I didn't used to wear makeup the first few times I was in Japan and nothing was different at all. :D
Rachel & Jun Awww! Thanks for saying that! Grace is sooo happy now! Also, I don't wear makeup :) (Ryosuke)
Texan in Tokyo Babe, we could fix that. I could do your makeup for a video. You would look fabulous. Admit itttttt. (Grace)
Rachel & Jun Agreed but still some lips balm. Her lips seem dry today

You ARE interesting. I'm watching this video while eating breakfast at 6:30AM here in Denmark for god's sake, hahaha.
I enjoy your videos! Have a great day!

I love these video's. Oddly enough I find them inspiring and motivating. I'm a full time single mum atm so I've had to put my dreams/craft business on hold until my boy starts school but I like watching your video's whilst I'm crafting or making amigurumi's. Plus I've always wanted to visit Japan but again a plan on temp hold so when I watch your video's I feel like I'm there in Japan ya know?
your skin is so pretty! You do not need ANY makeup!
aww you look really pretty without the makeup ^^ your skin condition seams really fine !
Yay!!! Vlog!!!!
My dear, I just wanted to support you in your no makeup challenge! You're adorable either way! :)
I feel like your husband should have a drone follow him all day cause that reality show i would watch for days
I love watching your show!!!
I secretly love slice of life type anime, so I really enjoy your episodes. I agree with Ryosuke, you are absolutely beautiful!
Texan in Tokyo Your attitude towards make-up is awesome! I wish my students felt that way. When 12 year old girls come to school caked in make-up & their school skirts rolled up so their underwear is almost showing I just want to cry. Women are better than that.
Bunny :D You look great without makeup! I love the atmosphere of your home.
I come to watch these videos to experience another life. They're so honest. It's great. I keep sharing these videos with girlfriends. Okay, lady friends. So fun, the atmosphere, I love it.

So awesome I definitely like these videos very interesting to see peoples life in japan. Even tho to you guys its just another day.
Like your video's, they make my day less boring. But they also keep me away from school work... So make more! :D
I love watching these episodes! And you look so beautiful without make up. :)
It's funny that you live out in the country now, but it still looks like the city to me (I mean the part where you're near your home, not just the part in Tokyo).

I started watching because of Rachel and Jun's channel :)
And now I just really enjoy your channel even if you don't think it's interesting I do lol
The little bunny is soo cute I always wanted a bunny ♥
I love when you do these videos! I was nodding like crazy when you were talking about not needing to wear make up. You inspired me to try have that mindset more. Ryosuke and you definitely also make me feel inspired to eat more cleanly when I can and enjoy outside more. Btw, I'm curious, what did you do with your bike when you got to the train station? Did you leave it locked up there?
whycare4life There's a paid parking lot near the station. 100yen for 12 hours. It's not "great" but it's not horrible either.
Well that's certainly a reasonable price! I like the idea of a paid parking lot that takes bikes too. Where I live you can take a train into Chicago but it's probably not advised to leave your bike there for long periods of time.
Also you do look beautiful without makeup. I usually just swipe on some mascara on my minimal makeup days when I go out.
I wish I looked as pretty as you with a bare face. You're blessed with beautiful eyes! ^_^
And a beautiful husband :D
Agree
you are awesome! and we watch because for some us japan lovers we get to see it through your eyes and always learn some intesting stuff in your videos, so plz keep them coming :D
p.s i am from kurdistan
hama sarkawt Hahahaha, thanks!
I'm also an illustrator and I enjoy the creative aspect of make up, more then the whole 'wearing make up to look acceptable'.
