Had mine for two days now.. was built in 1983! Perfect little thing for me wife and three little dogs.
I can see why these are good for evs.
Just sold my 19?? Gobur Carousel Slimline. I'm too old now for putting up and down at 82. Bloody lovely little thing for me and my Yorkie, Even narrower than that one, so no long mirror arms needed. Towed it with a 1966 Singer Vogue.
No Hot water and no toilet but most sites have "Facilities".
Bedding went under the seats, cupboards (still holding canned food and other provisions) went on the floor between the seats.
Sold it, well nearly gave it away at £500, sight unseen, and the buyer was back next day telling me how he and his wife loved it and they were well happy.
I mostly went local in Kent, Sussex etc, but we did go from Kent to Portmaddock for the Welsh Narrow Gauge Railways and Holt in Norfolk twice for a Classic Car Show with Free Ride on the Steam Railway there.
Goburs are well worth their money I think, especially for an "Old Grunter" on his own like me, or for a Couple with no kids.
This caravan is massive compared to my GO=POD caravan !...lol

We had one of these, absolutely loved it and they do have hot water on board.
I will have another look, but sure both taps are just cold, I will have a closer look at the bathroom tap again though. 😀

Go on then put it up and down. Also all cupboards must be empty.
Yes thats the only draw back is filling them and then empty them if too heavy.
Sorry that's not true. I have had my 1997 12/2TD for 6 years now and I never empty the cupboards. I usually holiday in Germany or Netherlands and could have sold it many times and it always draws a crowd. It is unfortunate that Gobur have stopped making new vans but still sell used ones and do maintenance.
So, let's see how easy it is to pack away and reassemble!

Very easy to fold down had one loved it

mow that is my sort of size caravan its like them little go pods or the swift basecamp
It's a pop-up caravan that have been about for over 40 years and this can is still bigger and heavier than a Freedom caravan. Not sure now where smallest caravan heading comes from to be honest.

Freedom caravan is smaller than this and only 650kg max.
Egg caravan is smaller than the freedom and only 400kg.
And finally teardrop is smaller than an egg and only 250kg
You’d have to empty all your cupboards before folding it up, too much trouble for me!
Not if you stored lightweight items in those little cupboards 👌
