We never get tired of a good ol' #DarthVader tribute that hits ya right in the feels on this channel.
This was too dang good guys. I always say this, but I applaud anyone who can put out a Darth Vader tribute that stands out and is special, and this one is certainly amazing. Seriously, huge shoutout to those of you who sent this to me and put this on my radar, I was truly speechless after I first saw it. So, so incredibly well done.
Crusade 588 this is SO FLIPPING INCREDIBLE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO WATCH MORE OF YOUR CONTENT!!! Keep up the amazing work. I seriously applaud you for the amount of time and work you must have put into this, but it certainly paid off, this is such a phenomenal tribute and truly stands out. Nothing I can say would do it justice.

Hayden did a great job potraying Anakin, no matter what people said about him.
I agree. He's a good actor. Unfortunately, the dialogue written for him wasn't the best. He did the best he could with what he had to work with. I always felt he got a bad rap for something that really wasn't his fault.
If you have lines like "I don't like sand", you couldn't do much.

Anakin didn't fail the Jedi order. The order failed him...
So true. Most of Anakin's problems could have easily been resolved/prevented if the Jedi had just saved his Mom or at least went back to get her.
Word... All he needed was a little bit of the real truth. He needed someone to trust him with the truth.
But if you know anything about the jedi order is to let go of all family ties because it gives into passion which leads to the dark side hence the no spouses or having kids which was another reason the jedi failed him and others across the star wars universe an the cause of most going dark side

Honestly Palpatine kept putting him in positions where he knew the Jedi would disagree.
That moment, when you realize that the entire story arc across many decades and 6 movies, was actually about the villain.
George Lucas said it himself: "The rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker".

I'd heard that before too, that Star Wars was Anakin's story and I think it's a shame they didn't include a bit of that in the last three films (as good as they were). It's a powerful story

I've always had a special place in my heart for Darth Vader that goes back to 1978 when my Grandfather gave me 3$ for my birthday and the first toy I ever bought on this Earth was the Darth Vader action figure by Kenner. What makes it even more meaningful is the fact that he passed away just a few short years afterward. I still have the beaten and battle worn Sith Lord sitting on my shelf. The collectors tell me it's worthless, but to me it's priceless.

TCW is lore breaking and cannot even be considered part of same canon as Lucas' Star wars. Real canon is ep1 to 6 with Clone Wars 2003 between ep2 and 3. Not TCW 2008 which ruined many things.
prequels have such huge scope of universe and no other franchise came close. Actions taken on Coruscant were felt across galaxy and Anakin journey into darkness step by step was awesome He was kid who looked on Jedi as heroes, wanted to become jedi to save him mother and others from slavery. after time he become arrogant because he was better than other students, tortured by dreams about his mother, want to see what is happening with her and Obi Wan tell him dreams pass in times, When he got his first assignment still is tortured by dreams but he put duty first until he cant take anymore and went to see what is wrong with his mother, try to save her, she died and he killed her captors, swear that he won't fail again on grave of his mother, arrogant again and was fried by lighting and lost an arm from duel with Dooku, prideful my power are doubled since we met, use anger and kill Dooku, still save Obi wan, he learn that will become father which is problem for Jedi, tortured by dreams of his wife death, ask jedi about visions and they tell him to be happy that others die miss them do not mourn them do not. Palpatine masterfully control Anakin and make that Jedi humiliate him by not giving him rank of master, Anakin and Jedi council are moving far from each other. Jedi Council ask that he spy Palpatine before they even knew he was Sith which make Jedi bad and power hungry that want to control and are no different then Sith. Palpatine reveal himself to Anakin and promise him that he can help him save his wife Padme. Anakin in shock that his fatherfigure is sith went to seek Jedi but realize that they are no different and when came into Palpatine office, Windu wants to kill Palpatine and only Anakin say that's not Jedi way and Windu answer same as palpatine did after Dooku died which confirmed for Anakin that Jedi are no different from Siths so he cut windu hand and Palpatine fried windu. After being part of killing leading member of jedi council, life he knew was over and only side he have is with Palpatine. To become more powerful to learn dark side to use it like Plageous, he must do dark deeds so he Purged Jedi from temple. After that he went to destroy separatists and he brought peace to the galaxy. After that he had time to reflect on his actions but he has gone too far and choice he made is permanent. Padme hears what happened and want check for herself so she went on mustafar and Obi Wan secretly boarded and after Anakin saw her, she wanted to leave but he wanted to stay because they don't have to run anymore and he still didn't learn what he need to save her, After that Obi Wan appear, he thought that Padme brought Obi Wan to kill him so he force choke her feeling betrayed and only because of arrogance he lost against Obi Wan.
Awesome and unique story of Anakin Skywalker. And that was mostly two movies because TPM was mostly Qui Gon and obi Wan movie.
Just movies do Anakin story best. No need to make light on character like TCW lore breaking stuff

It’s so tragic how he was supposed to be twice as powerful as Darth Sidious but only achieved about 80% of the emperor’s full power which is still impressive despite his injuries. I like legends a lot and hate Disney for what they did to Luke. Luke Skywalker in legends became Grandmaster and achieved what his father would of basically becoming the most powerful mortal force user in the galaxy but Disney decided to make him into a coward who gives up on everything and drinks sea cow milk. Ugh 🤦♂️ In the end, I can’t imagine Star Wars without Vader as well as his son since how iconic they are. Awesome character!

Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is (in my opinion) the greatest character ever created in film! His story is very powerful, and can still shake me up emotionally. Especially with these tribute videos. I love your reactions, as it's awesome to see another fan getting caught up right along with me.

Nothing but awesome comments here, what this short video did, Disney could not achieve despite the millions and millions of dollars they posses. Absolutely marvelous video and your reaction! I got choked up myself remembering where I was and what I did during the movies. Revenge of the sith hits me the hardest since it came out at the time I was in the middle of a bitter divorce and custody battle, I would take my boys 2y.o. and 5 y.o. to watch it and forget about the hell I was going through while trying to stay in their lives. They still remember how we watched it 6 times in the theater after I'd pick them up for the weekend. Now they are 17 and 20 and we have a strong bond, and Star Wars is part of our lives.

Thankyou to the true fans and creators who still have the passion to create these amazing videos for us. This video made me cry. Not even ashamed of the fact. Which is something none of Disneys star wars films with all their millions of $ managed to even come close to doing.
Star wars before Disney was beautiful, tragic, pure, and passionate, and these videos demonstrate it perfectly. It saddens me to no end the thought of what the sequels COULD have been, had the right people been involved
Holy CRAP!!! That was fantastic! I had never heard of this until you came up with this reaction. Yep......I thought I saw some "Shards Of The Past" too. The stories of Obi Wan, Maul and Vader are almost a Shakespearean tragedy. That's what makes the saga what it is.

This shows the fullness of Anakins character. It is the story of true redemption. When he fell, he fell hard...but we can see moments throughout that show his humanity. As a writer, I have always thought that his arc is one of the greatest in film.

Thank for doing my recommandation cath! Crusade588 is one of the few editor to inspired me to do tribute. I follow him since almost the begining. I don’t like to do this but I have a darth vader tribute too so if you guys have time i would love to get some advices to get better at this because i pass alot of time on a tribute and i don’t get alot of returns. Ah and of course great reaction cath ;)
I'm just gonna say one thing, thanks for reviewing this, your take was great to listen to and I think you're really pretty.
I wonder if Star Wars Theory will include stuff like this in the Darth Vader series; show more scenes with you (Padme) that build up the love behind Anakin Skywalker and the tragedy behind Darth Vader. Never before seen moments between Anakin and Padme that Vader remembers as he goes down the halls toward the tomb. It might be pretty cool to see Padme, as a memory, a hallucination, a ghost, or something, come up to an injured and damaged Vader; looking at him with pity and sadness as if she were thinking, "Anakin... look what you've done to yourself."

Two times that Star Wars tributes have dropped me to tears...both times is when you hear people calling “Anakin” around 8:01 and on and in your incredible part in Shards (of which I’m a huge fan btw) where we heard Padme call his name as he was getting shocked.....it’s heartbreaking

Damn! I rarely cry, but that brought a few drops to my eyes I must say. Luke will always be my favourite character (as well as Vader/Anakin of course), so this was a great edit. Damn you Rian Johnson for making Luke out to be afraid in VIII - I'll never understand or forgive him for that...the rest I could accept, even Leia flying 😂
There was nothing wrong with Luke being afraid, afterall in the novels luke fell to the dark side and served under palpatine until his sister saved him....but rians execution, motive, and script were horrible....

There's a can of worms. It's kinda addressed in the comics. When Vader(Anakin) threw Palpatine into the death star reactor to save his son, he fulfilled the prophecy. At that moment, Obi Wan knew that OBI WAN had FAILED his student. Obi Wan abandoned Anakin's mom on Tatooine. Obi Wan abandoned Anakin, who was supposed to be his brother, to an agonizing death.
Dave Filoni talked about how that when Qui Gon Jinn died on Naboo, the father that Anakin needed died.
