All the “Animal-Humans” are called Thirens, it’s used as a term to apply to all somewhat human and anthropomorphic species, with prefix words applied for specific Thiren types. For example, Bear-Thiren, Shark-Thiren, Cat-Thiren, Wolf-Thiren etc.
Additionally, there seems to be other types of Thirens aside from beasts since there are mentions of "Eye Thirens" and whatnot. Not much is known about other types of Thirens tho.
The trick to Burnice's demo is that pretty much everybody who wants her has already played as her: she existed in playable form well before the start of her banner and the storyline actually lends her to you a few times. This also means players had a pretty good idea of her personality... so since everybody was expecting a demo in spite of that the developers had a lot more artistic freedom than usual.

The animations are peak because it's so flowy even in game. It's so smooth even though it has high speed movements. There is detail in every movement even in Parrying or Dodging. You can slowmo a video clip and see what the micro movements of the characters. To add, your nephew and you are correct it's an RPG fighting game with story.
That was anby who was talking in the soldier 11 character teaser there is a connection to anby and soldier 11 because they look the same and have the same weapon people theory they are both sisters
To be fair, her teaser video gives you the important part - her personality. She can certainly fight, but I don't think she's ideal for a brand-new player (who couldn't be deliberately pulling for her right away anyway) and anybody with experience will have used her in Chapter 2.
I mean, the chances of these ones that don't have their trailer/teaser released yet to be released now is still possible, since Grace and S11's teasers came far later on instead. Maybe it has to do with their lore and such, especially Lycaon.
The Cunning Hares are sort of the introduction characters and pilot “mascot” characters for the launch of the game. But the actual main characters are sibling computer specialists that help the various mercenaries and operatives navigate through the Hollows. The little rabbits are Bangboos, which are robot helpers.
This game is my favourite game. The combat, the animation, the story, the gameplay..... I love 'em. Sadly this game is not as famous as other Hoyoverse games.

Notably, this makes her the 2nd character to do this, as Anton (the buff guy from Koleda's trailer) also uses Nitro Fuel for his drill, though he doesnt mention if he modifies it or if he just pours it straight in.
As far as species/races in ZZZ I’ve noticed three. Humans, Thiren, and a third race I’ve only noticed as npcs so far. Thiren are the humans with animal features and have a sub category of Beast Thiren who are more anthropomorphic animals rather then humans with tails, ears, horns etc. The third race I’ve only seen walking around as non interactable npcs. They have long pointy elf ears and no animal features so I call them elves.
