You just got a new subscriber based on how good those cabbage rolls looked - I’m ok with the fried part since I plan to eat a couple fewer than I normally would just so I can enjoy them the way they are supposed to be 😋 My question is about the starch you mentioned that can be mixed with flour instead of the pancake mix. Do you mean cornstarch? Also, should rice paper always be soaked before use? If so for how long? Thank you for the recipes. I look forward to exploring the others you have here.

For rice paper, briefly dip it in cold water and then shake off the excess water. At first, the rice paper will not be soft, but after about 20 seconds, it will become soft and pliable enough to roll and fold. I hope this helps!😊🥰🙏

This is good! Thank you. I found a pack of round rice papers in my pantry. I must have bought them and forgotten about them! There are 24 in it and close to expiration date so I was happy to find this! I want to try the egg and vegetables one tomorrow morning because I have eggs and vegetables in my refrigerator. Greetings from Washington State in the USA. I am not very familiar with Korean food because we do not have very exotic restaurants out here in the country BUT a little Korean Fried Chicken restaurant opened in the city close by where I do most of my main shopping and I got some on the way home today! It was so tasty! So now I am excited to try to cook it myself.

@@chungskfood I made it two or three times. I finally got the rice papers damp enough to roll and fold but not so soggy they get mushy. I made a version with shrimp that was tasty. Thank you for your videos, I would not know the right way to use them. When I run out of these papers I will look for more.

Dinner's in the oven and I've got 30 minutes to sit and relax and WOO HOO perfect timing with Part 2 of the rice paper recipes just posted! I especially appreciate this as my daughter has to be on a low carb diet at the moment due to a health condition and I'm trying hard to make meals that are low carb but still satisfying. With my food allergies, I'd be altering all of your recipes. However, my faves in this video are Spicy Pork stir fry (I'd substitute tuna, salmon, lamb or beef depending) and Rice Paper Gimmari.

Rice paper isn't eaten directly; you need to soak it briefly in water before using it. For spring rolls, soak the rice paper in water, fill it with your desired ingredients, and wrap it tightly. If you visit a Korean or Asian market, look for brands like Three Ladies or rice paper with a rose on the package. Be careful when deep frying rice paper, as it can cause oil to splatter. For deep-fried items like Chinese egg rolls, you might need to use a slightly thicker wrappers. Unlike spring rolls, egg rolls are made with thick, doughy wrappers made with wheat flour and eggs. How long do you soak the rice paper for please? ❤
Just soak it in cold water and take it out quickly. About 1 second in the water is enough. Thank you!😊🥰
Even after soaking the rice paper in water, it may be a bit stiff at first, but it will soften after about 20 seconds. That's the perfect time to roll in the ingredients.😊🙏
