Oh. My. Gosh. The glow. The crimp. The curls. The color (natural colored fleece is my favorite!) (Yes, I'm the proud owner/spinner/knitter of two Shepherd's Hey fleeces). Yeah, I wish I could huff some of those fleeces. I love the sheep barns. You didn't show any sheep dog trials - perhaps those were rained out? But except for that omission, you showed my favorite part of my favorite show.
Wow! Thank you for bringing the fleece to our eyes! (I will see what I learn, and/but wondering what “medium” refers to when discussing the categories of fleece…? Medium staple length? Medium crimp? A medium sized or clairvoyant-ish sheep?)
Ha! I like the idea of sheep who tell people’s fortunes, let’s go with that. OR… it’s a term for the grade or fineness of wool that’s between approximately 22 and 29 microns.
I went to the NH sheep and wool fest this past weekend. I could actually feel and smell the lanolin through your lovely presentation as it was still lingering on my senses. Your presentation was wonderful. Thanks!
I have no business going to a place like that with a credit card - OMG wool porn!!

Enjoyed seeing the variety of fleeces. Going to this Festival is on my bucket list.
Wonderful, Clara! Thanks for putting this together!!
Thank YOU for all your hard work making the fleece show and sale a success!
Thanks for “taking us along.” This was fun. I’ve only become familiar with the crimp, etc. because of some sheep shearing videos I’ve seen.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
At 9:51 I have tears of appreciation, and covetou lust in my eyes to have a coupla bags o' that
What a poetic tribute to the festival! Sheep ARE Valium on four hooves, aren’t they?
Yes!

I got to go spin. Thank you
I wish we had smell-o-vision, too, but your love and respect for both the shepards and the sheep shines through your narration.

My daughter and I are reading vanishing Fleece as a read along at our LYS and Alpaca ranch, Yarnegeddon💕🧶
