Hi, many times those steering wheel get beat up, because they don't have a steering wheel cover. If you put on your own steering wheel cover, it will preserve that leather wrapped steering wheel. I put one on my Chevrolet to preserve that steering wheel.
Hey my truck came with the very basic wheel which only has cruise control on it. I was hoping to gain not only the leather but radio functionality. I thought the buttons on the right controlled the radio but in your video it looks like they are controlling the dash cluster?
Dont use a torque wrench to loosen a bolt, takes it out of calibration. Only use to tighten.
Good tip!
False,
Torque wrenches can be used in either direction.

Correct, the radio buttons are on the back of the wheel on each side of the wheel
You could have bought a new clock spring for a truck with the option of a heated steering wheel and added that option to yours
Yeah, and I still might do that.
Will this be the same process for a 2019 sierra ?
Yes it should be
@@Myksgarage I don’t see no holes for the airbag springs. Just 2 10mm
Just take out air bag fuse.
And idea where it’s at?
@Myksgarage On the side of dash, drivers side, under fuse cover.
Why in the world wouldn't you show how you pulled the steering wheel off, you skipped it
You just pull it off
