Wow. You have to get on a track day! It is such a GREAT way to learn throttle control, braking and how to turn a bike properly. Make sure that you hit Like, Subscribe and hit the bell to be kept in touch with the race series - next up - Donnington and a nasty incident! Ade
Well played sir :)
Great points. I felt the same, Your comment 'you learn more in 6 months that on a road' is about right.
Yep, To be fair, it was Bikke or another person who came up with that for me.
Ade
Exellent progression Ade. The instructor was right. Your bodypositon for a complete track noob was exceptional. Danny.
Cheers. Really enjoyed it. Long way to go yet.
Ade
Loved that Ade. Love to see you being super excited again. Nice honest coverage. Brilliant.
Thanks, Reece. Appreciated.
Ade
This was awesome Ade! Loving the channel. Keep the Brutale footage coming. Inspiring and finally got my 22' MV Brutale 800rr ... been waiting for about 3 months. First ride ...This Friday! 😈👌🏾🔥🔥
Wow., cool. Let me know it goes. In the top modes these bikes are beast.
One of the fastest accelerating bikes apparently.
All standard?
Ade
Wowzer. I must get myself down to the track. I only have a speed triple but youve inspired me.
There was a speed triple there!
Always a fair few naked bikes at track days it seems.
Speed triple would be more than fine.
Go for it.
Ade
Looks like you actually did really well on the harder corners at Brands. Turning late is super key but that it not easy when you are new to it.
You might be right. I was probably concentrating more on those bends and the lines were perhaps more obvious.
Ade
Great vid. Really enjoyed the way you did it. Watched to the end which is unlike me. Ta.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Ade
I commend you for getting an instructor and having a friend who knows his stuff. The Playstation idea was excellent. hehe
Yes. all helped in making it a great day for me.
Ade
Bikes looking good. I like what you have done to it. Stands out a lot.
Much appreciated.
Ade
real good for first trackday!
It did go well. My second one was the opposite!! :) Video coming soon.
Ade
@@RevMonkey cant waitttt
@@blazin20s Ha. Out in about 1 to 2 weeks.
Ade
Well done Ade thanks from danny
Cheers/ Survived! Ha. I did go wide in the last right hander at one point but was pleased and proud I managed to refocus and make the turn. I seemed to accelerate more down that little straight under the bridge than I did down the front or back main straights.
Ade
Excellent effort. Things to improve on: Braking later and much less coasting, you can accelerate a lot harder as the bike will take it and once you are coming out of one bend already you should be looking round the next one if visible.
Yep, I have a lot to learn. Plenty of time though. So hard not to rush things as i get an overdose of excitedness. I need to calm down and stop going too fast.
Ade
Yeah, they are standard on the SP2.
Pressures? I have not got a Scooby Doo. Bikke handled all that :)
Ade
No potholes. no cagers. Paradise. Wish i was there. :-]
Yep, that is one of the best things about a track. Relatively safe.
Ade
Supercorsas I presume. What pressures were you running? Looked like a nice warm day.
No idea. Bikke sorted all of that out but they were a lot lower than i would have thought.
Ade
Super corsa u run 27 hit rear and 32 hit front.
Nice bikes in there. Looked like a really nice atmosphere.
It was! You get chatting with other bikers.
Always a good atmosphere at these events.
At Donnington, which came afterwards, there were 6 of us so we shared one big garage.
Ade
Looking forward to the donnington track day mate.
It was a whole different experience as the rain came in. Video coming out in a week or so.
Ade
Looked like you were really starting to shift later on. Well done for surviving!
Ha, it was a worry of mine.
If you take it easy it is, of course, easier than riding on the road!
Ade
Nice upload
Thanks. Good luck with your channel.
Ade
Bike sounds sweet dude. Same as in the first video with the other chap?
Yeah . The exhaust is really nice from Austin Racing @austinracing
Ade
What other stuff are you doing to your Fireblade?
Bikke is sticking on some new rearsets. This will improve the body positioning for both of us and are stronger in the case of a slide. Dunlop D212 tyres went on for Donnington. Excellent tyres. @dunlopmotouk #tractionbydunlop
Ade
Ha, your suit makes me laugh. I do like your joie de vivre.
I do try :)
I was getting a new 1-piece so thought I would have a laugh.
Ade
Nice watch! rolex?
Yeah. Submariner. The watch I wear mostly.
Ade
Why dont they have races there anymore?
Well, they do have Superbike races there, and some car races, just not F1 - which was taken over by Silverstone.
Ade
You must have been well chuffed with the instructor;s comments. It looked like to me you were getting pretty low.
It looks closer than it was. I would have loved to have gotten a knee down but just cant get over that psychological edge yet. Wont be long.
Ade
Officially first
Ha. beat the usual regulars! :)
Ade
Damn, beat me. LOL
By the way, love those Midi Motos, Sam.
We took out some MiniGP bikes with none other than Peter Hickman last week. Brilliant kit.
Ade
Seems like you were putting down the hammer and whizzed past some riders so you must be doing something right.
To be fair, they were likely just riders who were ever more worried that me about dropping their bike :)
Ade
Any dodgy moments out there?
I went wide on the last bend once, heading for the grass but instead of panicking I managed to focus on the bend and just get it round. At this point it was near the end of the day and the tyres were definitely starting to go.
