- So I purchased my first track bike and took a risk. I paid under £1000 what a bargain !! only problem is she doesn't run.
So this is quick vlog of me dropping her of at the Garage (SCM)Who I cant rate highly enough I know Rob will work his magic on the old girl. She has not ran for 9 years and has a mere 7000 miles on the clock.

it will run , theres no question its just how much work you have to do . compression check, battery , spark plugs , oil, gas... then go from there....

So I think you got a good bike there! Frame is in immaculate shape and the bike has really good components which are also appear to be in good condition given the price you paid! Hell even if the engine is shot you can always get a used engine off of ebay for relatively cheap and drop it in. After all it is a track bike, they are always a project lol!

mine had no keys ,stuck in gear, no plates bought in 2005 and tracked next day, it was stored for 15 years before i got it,

If the worst came to the worst a replacement engine ain’t that big a job. Even if it costs a grand to put right it’s still a bargain.

, i got my first track bike free, after talking him down from 2k usd ... it cost 800 in back tax for street riding 1200 to fix her up,,,,,, most of the 1200 was things riders do ever buy regardless, oil chain,tires,sprokets,ect... i made a key and fixed her up nice ,,, ive since ride everyday 5 years now , even crossed states riding did 1000 mile one day, shes fast ive done 160plus everyday for 2 years straight.solid bike.
At 3:10, that shock is standard. I just bought one of these to track!
