All of 1 Timothy 2 is talking about spiritual service to God and conducting one's self in doing so. Verse 9 isn't saying that women should never dress nicely. It is saying that a woman should be seen for the works they are doing for God, not trying to draw attention by what they are wearing.

First, don’t say I’m a man & don’t know anything about cheerleading, I’m a female. The only reason I clicked on this is because my granddaughter is a cheerleader.
Second, I know the camera person is supposed be doing that, but it is an injustice to the girl. How can anyone say “she killed it”? The only thing we really know about her, she can catch a Pom Pom, she can throw a Pom Pom on the floor & she has bad ankles. For all we know, she might be standing still, the camera person deserves the credit, if you think any is due.
