This laptop really just runs hotter than other gaming laptops, I’ve tried many ways to get average temps while gaming lower than 80, but it’s always 80-90. Brand new out the box too.
That's normal and good enough as well, looks like yours is optimized as you aren't reaching 95+! other laptops could be worse and mostly does BSOD when this happens!

Woah, you should get the victus in my opinion but do some more research about both, watch some reviews for each of the specific laptops and maybe even ask chatGPT, that helped me. The 13th gen cpu on the victus is probably better than a 12th gen. And ddr5 is much faster than ddr4 though ddr4 isn’t bad. Then again, the core specs of a laptop are what matter most and those are the GPU, CPU, RAM, and screen. Check the sRGB % of both screens too. sRGB is a measure of how many colours the screen can display
The answer to this is simple in my opinion and based on my perspective, HP Invictus has better specs but branding as well and the overalls of the laptop should heavily considered! I know it's hard to pass on latest DDR5 rams but right now, latest models of TUF offers that as well, so i think you should lean more on TUF side because it wouldn't be one of the highest sold laptop for no reason and they're already formidable brand with their TUF and ROG series, but still, stick to your preference!

Before when i first bought it and haven't adjusted settings yet, yes! You need to improve your thermals if it's really getting bad and accompanied by problems but most of the time, heat around central area of gaming laptop is normal!
As for specs, could be better for a little bit on gpu, but what you should be thinking about is, would you lean towards Lenovo over ASUS, despite specs of course branding is a must to consider as well. Ideapad gaming 3 is fine but (personally) i wouldn't recommend it as there as more better gaming laptops i can recommend like Legion if you really wanna go on Lenovo side!

No, totally normal and you dont have to worry about that, PC and Gaming laptops are totally different and temperatures are already quite compromised in most of gaming laptops which is just normal.

i definitely got a bad unit. My brand new tuf f15 3050 is so choppy even watching youtube and normal apps when not charged. Its literally slower than an old computer. Even if its in 144hz setting. Im definitely so unlucky

How much is the price difference? from what i know, 11400H has 2-4% advantage on 11260H, much better settle where you budget can go, especially there's not much huge difference on what you're comparing, get what's the cheaper/best in value!
Haven't tested yet, but all i can say is Hogwarts Legacy is quite similar to Elden Ring, as you can see here, with max settings and rtx on, haven't had any problem, fps performance is totally fine as well, FPS drops on hogwarts legacy, might be normal as long as its not accompanied by heavy problems like force close and overload related problems due to heavy graphic settings
Gaming most of the time should be done while plugged in, but if you don’t mind a slow down performance and battery drain and still want to game on battery mode, its fine, as for the fan noise, it can be heard but if you carefully adjust settings to the point that it wont stress the gaming laptop, it might just do fine!

Yes, the monitor is capped on 144hz and my goal is to reach 144 fps on Valorant to hit the cap of the display. With my ASUS TUF F15 specs, it can exceed when i play on higher refresh rate external monitor. I think you need to specify more about your laptop's specs because it looks like it's different from mine.

try undervolting cpu in bios by -30mV it help me stop the stutters
All gaming laptops should be on power mode if you want to play a game
