Can I ask why my asus tuf dash f15 when I connect an external monitor it doesn't have any display on the monitor i updated the drivers and everything I also use rtx 3050 please help
Try first the initial troubleshoot, check if your hdmi/usb display cable is working, make sure the power adapter of the monitor doesn't have any problems, those are common mistakes that you might forgot to check, if everything is fine, there might be some display issues with your GPU, try using your iGPU and connect it to external monitor.
I bought this laptop around September 2022 and 9 months later one of the fans was really struggling. I looked into sending it back to Asus for a reapr as it was still under warenty but they wanted to charge an aweful of money if they couldn't find anything wrong with it and charge rather a lot of money if they did repair it and send it back. I thought probably best to just keep it going as long as I could and it packed up playing a game I play every day so I went and bought another Asus Tuff 15 and having it delivered tomorrow. Hopefully I will have better luck with it.
Hey man I'm really confused if I should go with tuf f15 i7 11th gen, 11800h rtx 3050ti Or dell g15 5520 with i5 12th gen 12500h rtx 3050 as I want a lap that lasts long?
Both would last long, the factor you need to think about is the price difference, you also have to consider that gaming battery laptops are fine but not something to be used on daily workflow/life. If you can get the highest possible battery variant, much better.
I'm an 11th grader in senior school. I need a laptop for my studies but I also like games too much and now I don't know whether should get a MacBook air m1 or this thing
i got the FA506IC (AMD Ryzen 5, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) variant. i havent upgraded the ram but i am considering uprgarding soon as well as getting a cooling pad. would you reccommend getting another addiotnal ddr4 8gb ram on top of the 8gb that it already provides or should i get an additonal 16gb ddr4? i use to use it a lot for my studies but have now graduated uniervsity and now i only use it for mobile gaming as i have a gaming pc at home with a 3060
8gb would be enough for gaming, but if you have budget, you can also go for another 16 so you have some allowance if you want to do streaming and etc in the future!
What's your opinion on warranties? Did you get one? I heard bad things about asus warranties, i wanna get this laptop but im scared it'll break and it'll be too expensive for me to fix especially if they dont accept the warranties.. did you get a warranty or not? Do you know the difference between care gold and care Platinum? Which is fhe best? Edit: the model i want to get is the f15 FX507VV Specs are: i7 13620H 16gb(max 32) ram 1tb nvidia 4060 144hz battery 90WHrs But the price is 1300€ which is not bad but that's with no warranty at all getting a warranty will make it cost from 1350-1440€ which is too much for me since I'm still a student (I'll get a part time job to get this laptop but cannot stay long since I'm studying)
i dont know if you still care but i just bought the same laptop a few days ago and so far its been good. asus warranty is only bad for international cases, but otherwise it should be fine locally especially if you complain to whoever you bought it from. i think paying a little bit extra for warranty for reassurance might be worth it

Fans randomly stop working forcing me to restart the system for it work again, causes me to accidentally overheat my pc multiple times Is this an issue you have faced? How can i fix it?
@@Rymndkrl as a user of the same laptop, uninstall armoury crate, download ghelper, and switch the gpu mode to eco. you will comprimise gaming performance, but if battery life is your priority, switch it to eco mode.
How long you’ve had your F15? 1. Your comparison is different from the normal decrease performance on battery mode which is normal, i think if that’s how you describe it, there must an issue with that. On battery mode, try to set the max 99, if it’s still doesn’t have any changes, include the min as well. 2. This is obviously an issue and much better to take to repair center, your situation could 100% damage internals of your laptop. With my experience for 18 months, this never happened.
Should I buy this F15 RTX4050 waiting for F16 which release on ASU CES 2024,F15 have I9,but seems F16 only i7,seems like F16 only just has bigger screen ,that’s it?
That's how price laddering work, they might want you to opt. out on lower models buy eliminating other parts/features, go for best value for your money!
What do you think about TUF F15 FX506HE? You didn’t mention it in the video. I want to buy one used. It has a RTX 3050, Intel i5-11400H, 8gb RAM and 512gb SSD. It’s 520$, but of course it’s negotiable. Was thinking about adding 8 or 16 gb of RAM after buying it. But I don’t think it’s necessary.
It's up to you, 520$, seems like a good deal if no hidden issues because currently the price for original one is twice as this. I would suggest to upgrade it to 16gb RAM, but if 8gb works fine for your activities, then you don't need to upgrade.

Thanks for the video! It's super informative with a good setup for consistent CTR. I wouldn't be surprised if you blew up at some point tbh 👍 I clicked since I'm hoping it can help me with gaming, schoolwork, and content creation/streaming. I'll be working in editors (video and photo), stream encoding, using DAWs, and running multiple programs at once (games, apps, etc.) and thought of investing in something I can use for the next couple years. Eventually I found some on Amazon with a i7-12700H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 around $1200. I plan to upgrade the RAM to 32GB later also. I'm sure your other videos will answer some questions I already have, but do you think downgrading to Windows 10 would help with performance?
For that specific spec that you're looking at, gaming, schoolwork, content creation/streaming, stream encoding, digital audio, it's all good! In terms of multitasking, this model that i have already has good performance on multitasking (ex: playing 1 official game, 1 windowed game, adobe premiere pro, notion, chrome), so what you're looking at would probably do better but consider that mine is 24gbs of RAM, 16gb might feel jittery with this, so you'll really need to go for 32 for advanced seamless experience for multitasking(specifically). For the pricing, that's actually decent, $1200 for that specs and it's ASUS, that's a good deal, some factors you just need to consider is battery variant and what series. Windows 11 is essential, provides better performance especially with your usage.
@@hermezx Windows 11 also fixed the WiFi issue too, so I guess it's non-negotiable 😅 I think I've decided on getting this laptop then! Thanks for the tips from your comments and videos. Good luck with your channel -- I'll be keeping an eye out for your next video (ASUS related or not).
Here 's a Question if you Put On GPU Ultimate Mode you can game while unplugged and Switch the Silent to performance mode is it safe to game like it is when not being on charged?
No, Turbo mode is not available when unplugged, only performance mode! You can game while unplugged but be ready to be disappointed as performance would not be as good as on plugged and battery will heavily drain. The GPU will only work up to it's full potential when plugged in.

Yes totally fine and its 16gb already, you’re good to go, the settings are something that is adjustable anytime. 1. You can definitely afford it so go for it, the price is fair, but one small concern here that i have, is 16gbs of RAM enough for you? (you’re buying the 8+8, so ask if the initial RAM on that model is soldered) Assuming that this would used heavily for gaming which in terms of future proofing, current games right now tends to use 8-12 gbs of RAM (objectively 13700, 4050 can definitely hit 144 fps on some games) 2. Not sure about the technical support of Lenovo, but that kind of policy is actually true especially with these popular tech brands, experienced it with LG, the technical assistance is just like what you expect on lenovo. 3. F16 is just a part of price laddering for me (you can disagree on this, its just my own personal tech thoughts) but for sure, specs has wider range of choice and more updated and there might be some good features that you can’t find on F15 and F17 that they’ve added on this F16.

@@hermezx Hi, yes I have just the mouse is a bit stuttering and lagging when it’s unplugged even using the GPU Ultimate. But when charging the mouse is fine but it’s the mouse built into the laptop it’s self.
Heyy how is Tuf f15 i7 11800 3050ti is it fit for 2024 or should I look for any other option my budget is 70 - 76k (inr)
If you can get that TUF 15 you’re looking at on that price as brand new, its win! Yes, it’s not outdated.
Ok brother what is another suggestion you would make?
I did a full clean install on my USB on windows 11 I lost my panel saver to where it changes unplugged to 60 hz and plugged in 144 hz I emailed ASUS support waiting to get back can anyone help me how to get it back? On Armory Crate
Try checking out FAQ about Armoury Crate or ASUS, you can also try some restore point but no chance at all as its clean install.
Is it good good with you now?
Hey man I'm really confused if I should go with tuf f15 i7 11th gen, 11800h rtx 3050ti Or dell g15 5520 with i5 12th gen 12500h rtx 3050 as I want a lap that lasts long?
Go with i5 12th gen
Both would last long, the factor you need to think about is the price difference, you also have to consider that gaming battery laptops are fine but not something to be used on daily workflow/life. If you can get the highest possible battery variant, much better.
@@hermezx thanks man👊💛
I'm an 11th grader in senior school. I need a laptop for my studies but I also like games too much and now I don't know whether should get a MacBook air m1 or this thing
Dont get macbook, its very bad for gaming
@@MoviesForLeo okay thank you. This was enough to get a gaming laptop 😁
i got the FA506IC (AMD Ryzen 5, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) variant. i havent upgraded the ram but i am considering uprgarding soon as well as getting a cooling pad. would you reccommend getting another addiotnal ddr4 8gb ram on top of the 8gb that it already provides or should i get an additonal 16gb ddr4? i use to use it a lot for my studies but have now graduated uniervsity and now i only use it for mobile gaming as i have a gaming pc at home with a 3060
8gb would be enough for gaming, but if you have budget, you can also go for another 16 so you have some allowance if you want to do streaming and etc in the future!
Edit: the model i want to get is the f15 FX507VV
Specs are: i7 13620H 16gb(max 32) ram 1tb nvidia 4060 144hz battery 90WHrs
But the price is 1300€ which is not bad but that's with no warranty at all getting a warranty will make it cost from 1350-1440€ which is too much for me since I'm still a student (I'll get a part time job to get this laptop but cannot stay long since I'm studying)
i dont know if you still care but i just bought the same laptop a few days ago and so far its been good. asus warranty is only bad for international cases, but otherwise it should be fine locally especially if you complain to whoever you bought it from. i think paying a little bit extra for warranty for reassurance might be worth it

Yo dude I like the laptop and all but since i bought it im facing 2 problems
1. PC is SUPER slow when on battery, like seriously. 10 year old laptop could do better bruh.
2. Fans randomly stop working forcing me to restart the system for it work again, causes me to accidentally overheat my pc multiple times
Is this an issue you have faced? How can i fix it?
same with me, it super slow when on battery.
I have the same problem as well. It's very very slow on battery mode and i think that's because of the battery.

Here on our local Mall Store, I found an Asus Tuf F15 with intel i5 12500h cpu and 3050 gpu for 56,995 pesos and has Mux switch. i guess its a 2023 model. My decision is final ! Asus tuf f15 is my choice ! 😊
Thanks for the video! It's super informative with a good setup for consistent CTR. I wouldn't be surprised if you blew up at some point tbh 👍
I clicked since I'm hoping it can help me with gaming, schoolwork, and content creation/streaming.
@@hermezx Windows 11 also fixed the WiFi issue too, so I guess it's non-negotiable 😅
I think I've decided on getting this laptop then!
Got it thank you! @@hermezx

Yes totally fine and its 16gb already, you’re good to go, the settings are something that is adjustable anytime. The Top 1 on the F15 series is what you’re looking at but again, if battery life is somewhat important to you especially if you have plans on coding while on battery mode away from outlet, get 90wh or settle for other laptops.

As long as under 100k PHP, pasok pa rin sya sa akin.
1. You can definitely afford it so go for it, the price is fair, but one small concern here that i have, is 16gbs of RAM enough for you? (you’re buying the 8+8, so ask if the initial RAM on that model is soldered) Assuming that this would used heavily for gaming which in terms of future proofing, current games right now tends to use 8-12 gbs of RAM (objectively 13700, 4050 can definitely hit 144 fps on some games)
