These are our first 2021 C8 Corvette arrivals to Schumacher Chevrolet of Livingston. We have the Black 2LT Z51 Coupe with the gray racing stripes and the Rapid Blue 2LT Z51 Convertible. in this video we go through the specs of these two Corvettes.

I was thinking the same thing. To each his on, but the yellow seatbelts with red & black interior with the rapid blue exterior, just looses me.
I agree with choosing the right color. Just yesterday I saw an all black C8 crossing the intersection and couldn’t see all the nice lines to much till I got right next to it.
Regarding the Rapid Blue c8.
You should never take LSD until AFTER you select the interior colour ! The colour override option is to make you think twice about making a BIG mistake on colour combos that reflect poor taste.

I think the rapid blue on the C8 looks best out of all the other colors

I agree with the wheels on the black one. But I don’t care for that style wheel in silver either. The black one is a great looking spec. I’m not a huge Blue fan personally.

I disagree, I ordered rapid blue with red interior. Its a statement its not a basic car, the black one is boring 😴. That's my opinion.
Hi, IMO, I have seen several rapid blue c8 with the 2 tone blue interior and that is beautiful, I would never put red with blue, but it’s all about choices!!!
I’m good with the red interior, but the seat belts made me ask wtf!
@@sandromelfi6278 I have an accelerate yellow convertible with a black top and red interior and it looks spectacular. An outrageous color for an outrageous car. This blue color was a close second choice. Black and grey colors are kind of bland for me.
He is hoping to have a "one of one" when he tries to sell it for a premium.

One thing new I saw in another video I was unaware with before is with the 2021 you can now pair android mobile devices as well as Apple. It seems the 2020 only allowed Apple device pairing.
I agree the line of the car are LOST in the black paint . I saw a ORANGE one about a month ago that was FREAKING GORGEOUS

I am with you on the black one. To me the stripes are not needed on that car. And the black badging on the deck lid does not look good with the silver stripe, my opinion as well. (should be red). To me the blue car is the wrong color all together, the red interior accents fight with the blue exterior. I would not order a blue Corvette with those rims. My thoughts only, to each his own. Good videos, really enjoy the content.

yup, I even saw this when I had two C6's. They were the same car. The first was Silver and the second on I had was Atomic Orange. The Orange was such a head turner... You have to go bright color on these cars!!

Weird combo rapid blue with the red interior. The blue interior would be my choice.
Great comments. Any idea when you will be reviewing a red mist tintcoat. Very few videos out there.
I think the rapid blue one is a 3LT since it had red stitching. When I ordered mine, I got a 2LT and wanted red stitching and they told me I needed to get a 3LT to get the red stitching.
You have to use the Color Combination Override which was the $590 charge to get it on the 2LT

Question, my GM said I’m paid hourly minimum wage. Paid an “advance” on the 10th & commission on the 25th. “Advance” pay is taken out of commission. That sounds like a draw check but he never said that term. I’m a newbie when it comes to car sale industry. Is that sleezy to call it hourly but have you pay it back?

Is the hourly minimum wage separate from advance pay? Would you have to pay the minimum wage back from commissions?
@@DaveBsellsChevy that’s what I’m not sure. He said we are paid with minimum wage hourly. Then proceeded to say advance pay. I didn’t ask that at time of since I was ecstatic to get the job

Dave do you think it would be difficult for a 17 teenager to work in a Chevrolet dealership as a detailer or any other position that a teenager could get in a dealer? Really like the videos and it inspires me to get into the car industry 👍
Hey Michael, I see that being a definite possibility... I say go for it! A dealership has many entry level positions and plenty of ways to grow in the company.

The yellow seat belts look terrible; they look like the strapping that goes around bundles of building materiels. That blue Vette needed black wheels and red calipers also.

‘What’s it like being a car salesman’. Haha. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard someone claim that. Well let’s see: everyone tends to run away from me. For those customers who want to bargain too much I excuse myself to see the big boss and instead I hit the vending machine for some juicy fruit. I fear that customer who thinks he knows more than me and try’s to outsmart me with their knowledge. I panic when Louis shows up when I am close to a sale and he flips out because I took a job as a car salesman. I hate telling the customer what the bottom line price is as for some reason more costs seem to wander onto the price sheet. Trying to understand why values drop so rapidly. Why did I go to college. Just kidding there are some reputable car salesman and dealers and Schumacher is one of the real quality family owned dealerships. My parents bought their first car there.

Way too much coin for those cars. They should be at 50-60k tops. For that price they are asking, I could by a new Dodge Hellcat and I have trunk space for my HD runs for bags of mulch.
Love the interior carbon fiber. Hate the velvet material or what they call suede. I don't get the whole personalized plaque deal. I know what is, but I personally think it is ridiculous.

When dummy don't believe its your car all you have to do is point at the plaque or if it stays in the family when die they know grandpa owned it lol
Enjoying the content but not loving the yellow seatbelts. The concept is cool but they look cheap to me since they have to be that standard material, highlighting something that isn’t luxury or sporty. I feel like they belong in a Honda Civic with matched spray painted yellow vents.
Color combinations are not classy. Body color is great.
The colors on these are hideous. I guess money doesn’t buy a sense of aesthetics.
The black and silver at least doesn't look like the owner was colorblind.
