Vinyl wrapping cars is a lot more than just applying colorful film - the prep work is the majority of the time investment! Removing emblems, decals, stickers and PPF all have to be done in advanced, to make all surfaces are smooth. But most of these factory emblems come with a lot of glue, foam and residue left behind. I always saw people use Goo Gone or even just a heat gun, but that was always a huge pain for me.
So, after literal days and many tools, chemicals and scrapers tried, I finally acquired a combination of products that removes sticky stuff from cars without damage.

Doesn't matter the content, I'm always here for the ✨personality✨
SAME! Alex is one of the most entertaining individuals I have ever seen.
thanks :D
Worked so good he became religious for a sec😭
bruh got goo gone in his lungs
never thought I'd be so invested in the the reptile mans car, but here we are and I couldn't be happier
:D
I honestly know NOTHING about cars but you are great! I keep watching for you pookie.
same
This is the only guy who can make the process of wrapping cars interesting to people (me) who have zero interest in wrapping cars.
that link for the plastic scraper made me blue screen of death don't know what weird af but I do love that adhesive remover definitely will get that
Ahhhh, so glad you found the rapid remover! We use it very regularly at my work. I don't know what your usual process is, but make sure you give that whole car a good good wash and let it completely dry before you iso it and start wrapping it. You don't want any chance of any debris under there. I'm so excited to see how it comes out 😁
It’s so nice to see you happy and laughing because things are actually and finally working
I love your DIY initiative 🎉
Just wanted to pop in and say I’ve been watching the channel for years!! I am LOVING the new content and exploration in your videos, and it’s so obvious that you’re so much happier 😊 Keep it going , Alex!!
i love seeing the growth 🎉🎉🎉
thanks!
Reminds me a bit of those restoration vids, kinda tickles the same itch.
When I wrapped my mustang the adhesive was the WORST part in the prep phase… wish I had that remover 😂
for me, it's second worst after just dealing with the amount of plastic clips i have to remove. buuut at least the adhesive is a total non-issue now :D
Came here for reptiles, staying for the car content (also sprinting to get that goo remover)
just hearing how you pronounce subwoofer, I immediately called it a subawuwuwufer in my head due to your license plate. awesome job as always dude!
You might want to look into getting an eraser wheel eventually for the thicker badge adhesive.
Watched the last video today and was going to recommend this stuff...glad you found it. Took the decals off my car super easy with it. Also used one of those $30 steam cleaners to remove the decal so it doesn't over heat paint with heat gun. Goo gone sucks ass.
i'm so confused why goo gone is the standard across videos and tutorials now. it's not even like this is hard to find, it's on 1 day prime delivery!
@@GoHerping I almost bought one of those rubber wheel drill attachments made for decal removing also...but I wasn't brave enough to try on a new car.
@@jasonanderson927just don’t use it on plastic and it should be fine.
About time you caught a break with this car!
I'm loving this series
thanks :D
Alex on the foam type adhesives from the badges you could use a toffee/caramel wheel for a drill. They are inexpensive and very effective
I’m really excited to see how this car turns out
great content you are so good at things
the car content is so GOOD
ty!
Love the car content
You should make your own emblem for the subuwu
What the heck, why is it working so well for you!?
youre the one who sent me the link, why are u surprised :pepeThong:
@@GoHerping he was trying to set you up for failure
@@GoHerping Bc it doesn't work that well for me lol- maybe its because you're using new, sharp plastic blades?
I miss your herping vids
Love these vids! Would be better in grey sweat pants tho. js
Recently watched your video on that terrible cheetah print seat you got and could help but notice a pew pew on the bed and mag, any chance you’ll do I video about maybe how you got into it, what they are and or range time, etc?
The duckbill is the spoiler on the front of the car
Definitely go duckbill or leave the oem wing. Loving the content btw!
thanks!
I wonder if this would be the solution to the hardened spruce resin all over my car
Potentially! It's worth a shot at least
You sold out the adhesive remover remover!
Did you use a paper towel to remove the glue??? Doesn’t Paper towels lightly scratch the paint
Hate look of bug wings on BRZ's just get a ducktail if you don't want to fill the holes
I say go for a big wing
Yay!
I hadn't even realized it was Alex untill I saw a bunch of weird comments.
Should have used Floss on the emblem. Also nice job with the 2 completely different areas in the thumbnail lol Why not just show where you took the badge off of in both?
its the same spot tho
@@GoHerping Where's the circle indent and the holes then?
When you were stripping off the adhesive you can see a circle indentation along with holes. those aren't visible in those pictures for some reason?
@@PTIPPY photoshopped out lmao. it made the thumbnail look unfinished, im surprised anyone noticed that bit
@@GoHerping lol sorry I am super observant, wasn't saying it was a bad thing. Just pointed it out.
I followed this Chanel for reptiles
"The adhesive is gone from the entire car" What about the long strip of PPF on the trunk? Was it members-only content? 😂
DONT WANNA TALK ABOUT IT (its staying on)
What hapened to reptiles?
saw feet reflection 😢 0:36
:I
Not a great idea to add a coating to protect the finish of your car yourself. I had it done at the dealer for my Mercedes and well worth the expense.
this car will have a color change vinyl wrap, if that's what you're referring to
Boy don’t let me ever hear you say Audi like that ever again
Use extra virgin olive oil
It’s been circumcised 😂
Are you barefoot?? The reflection of those grippers thooo
Okay so like I don't want to be the mommy in the comments, but... please wear gloves and an n95 mask while you do these projects. Be safe. 😅
Edit: oh good you're at least wearing gloves!
Edit II: if you're not going to put a tail fin or spoiler on, are you going to fill the screw holes with body filler? 😮
nvm my pc just thought it be fun to take a dump at the same time I pressed the link disregard, dumb PC...

He's so boring now. 😮
he’s always been
Warning! Just my opinion, take it or leave it. Pick one type of content and stick to it. Otherwise you are just doing random stuff and sometimes something pops off but if new viewer likes your I spend day with dogs because I hate them or I Quit Amazon, what are chances that they will also like your car modification videos. And well many people say that they are here for your personality, that is why I am also still around but there is not much of personality in such technical topics like this one. So question in my head for quite some time is who is your target audience? Or are you just doing whatever you feel like doing and do not care much whether people watch or no.
He's just doing what he wants to do
From reptile care taker to filming yourself smfh lame...😂
Why were people saying to use Goo gone, it did nothing compared to the others😆🤣
You gained a subscriber by posting consecutive car content 😎. Btw please use microfibers it hurts my soul seeing a paper towels on car paint 🥲
