Great show, i’m an asv pt50 owner for 12 years now, bought it new fully loaded, it’s used on my farm acreage only, not construction. i’m looking at the RT65 Max, to replace it. With all the new features for operator views why not go one step further by putting blind spot cameras and viewing monitors over top of the switch panels and posts, it would be like looking through all glass for 360 degrees. it’s happening in the auto industry.

Excellent presentation and well done innovations. It covered a lot of the elements of the varied models, but on top models for land clearing, I assume it has a bush-hog and hopefully mulcher capability. I very briefly heard something but it was covered so quickly I missed it. Thanks and again we’ll done.

The one thing I noticed and is concerning is the lack of rear protection and area to add excess weights

I own 2008 PT60 2017 RT60 and I just bought 2019 VT70 HO. I'm so disapointed with the VT 70 I'm sending it back for the MAX because It lacks the visiblility and thottle pedal that my others have. Basically I been using asv for over a decade to get something that doesn't operate the same is a step backwards in my mind. The Max series will hopefully address some of these problems. Plus who needs a stereo in their machine put a dam wireless phone charger slash holder ffs.

I've got a 2018 RT60 and it is a good machine for its size, but many of its design features are outdated as compared to other brands. And I think that's the primary reason for the MAX series units. ASV knew it need to update its cab, and I'm guessing the company's new owner (Yanmar) infused some much needed capital into R&D in order to make these CTL's appear more current. The new look and ergonomics are nice, but they aren't game changing features. In fact, most other brands already offer them. I've pointed this out elsewhere, but will reiterate the comment that a great deal of visibility in a CTL is lost by the obstruction of the loader arms. This is especially true as respects an operator's ability to see the tracks when the bucket is down. ASV didn't really add much more glass, they just removed the metal over it, so even if the cab is wider and the ROPS pillars are narrower, the visibility is really only improved because they've eliminated the obstruction created by the metal lattice that used to cover the glass on their cabs. The roof hatch is nice, but a better option would have been to design a door like Kubota uses. Such a design allows for opening even when the loader arms are raised to the point where the cross-bracing between them is positioned in front of the door. The pressurized cab is a nice feature and is long overdue. Any improvement over the old design which is open (in places) to the engine bay and allows the cab to fill with dust in dry conditions is a welcome change. But one con about an all glass enclosure is that it will be warmer inside, especially without AC. You're also gonna need sunglasses to deal with the extra sunlight ... and glare created by dust on windy days. Long days in bright conditions without protection for your eyes will lead to headaches. Don't get me wrong, the changes are nice, but I would like to see ASV focus on refining serviceability and improving access to service points. Does the new cab even tilt to give you access to the hydraulic pumps underneath it? I hope the money invested by Yanmar results in sales for the sake of keeping the ASV CTL lineup. But I fear that this new cab won't sway the consumer enough to move the needle, and the Japanese culture and its business model, is such that a company like Yanmar will not hang on to a product line that isn't bringing an improved return on investment. Time will tell.

Only on the 120 size...all other ASV models are true pilot hydraulic controls
