How To: Vertical Jigging For Stripers In Cape Cod Bay

Here's an instructional video filmed in Mid May in Cape Cod Bay where Capt. Cullen Lundholm and Capt. Mike Hogan share some tips on vertical jigging for suspended stripers in deeper water. In the video, Cullen prefers a faster retrieve with a Hogy Sand Eel jigs with an assist hook while Capt. Mike prefers a slower approach with a soft bait. Bottom line, the faster retrieve is great for targeting scattered fish and the slower retrieve is ideal for less aggressive, well-fed stripers.
