- THE WORLDS BEST STRIPER FISHING //
On this special episode of Abenz Fishing I went fishing for my favorite fish, the elusive striped bass. We went to buzzards bay, MA and got out with my good friend Cpt. Robbie. We got on an EPIC topwater bite and made it happen in a big way! Striped bass are hyper aggressive surface feeders and there is not better place to fish for them than Buzzards Bay!

Been waiting for this video. Love the striped bass vids
Thanks man! More to come!
Great video. I like the information you share on what you're using and on tying knots. I'm a novice and I appreciate the fishing info.
@9:20 Awesome just holding the fish there so Captain could get one of the followers! Team work makes the dream work!
Yessir - thanks for tuning in 🙏🏻
nice bro! I'm about to embark on my journey fishing up the coast and should be in New England for week or so!
That’s what’s up! Can’t wait to see the content bro!
Your new fishing rod is nice. I'm going to keep that one in mind.
Fish were awesome!!!
Nice! One of my bucket list fish.
They're a blast!
The canal was on fire this morning. Tight lines sir. Hope I see you around.
I heard, I'm back in FL till September - tight lines!
Amazing catches!
Thank you!
Great bass fishing, great to watch tightlines 🐟🇪🇸
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Dude I'm jealous of this action this footage is crazy! Great editing by the way, very clean. I was up in Maine early this summer and got a few decent striper but nothing like this haha
Thanks! 🙏🏻
The Atlantic provinces of Canada are going to be the new striped bass mecca in 10 years!!
I could see that - warmer water temps, etc.
@@AbenzFishing yes that’s one reason. It’s crazy how the striper population has exploded here in the past 6-7 years! A lot will depend on how well the powers that be manage, or mismanage the stocks. Great video!
@@markkelly969 it’s awesome to hear, a lot of people think population is severely depleted but I think a lot of them are moving up north
@@AbenzFishing I think there is more food up here as well. We have a moratorium on commercial mackerel fishing in place for the last 2 or 3 years. There is lot's of lobster if the last couple of years is any indication.Lots of crabs. Gaspereau are plentiful, although there is still a commercial fishery for those. Not sure about the silverside population, but where i fish i do see all kinds. Again, i think the deciding factor will be how well the government handle's things. There have been some big busts of poachers unfortunately. And with the population of P.E.I. being so small, word travel's fast. Foreign temporary workers were caught this summer with 140, 150 illegal fish. IN ONE DAY. And from what i heard, no fines were levied. The DFO confiscated the fish, and their rods and coolers. Fines need to be handed out to stop that kind of blatant poaching.
Bro, I was born in New Bedford. Buzzards Bay was my backyard! Incredible fish!! Congrats!!!! Now get back to Florida and get on some big tarpon!!😁
My man! That’s so awesome, buzzards is
legendary
I'm heading down there myself this week
Good luck!
Wish I knew u were up here. I fish at nite with live eels and catch absolute slobs. It's a blast! U should come try it
That’s awesome. I’ve always wanted to do that
I hear their bite and fight is unreal
They’re super fun to target. My favorite
@@AbenzFishing Hey we went out to the pass don't want to say exactly but u know. Let me tell you high 40s just cruzing the ledge. Crushing small bait well lures too hehe. Allot of fun. Tons of Drag screaming. Tampa, FL Zack
have you tried fish prepared Provençal? its Spanish style. chopped fresh tomato, onion, fresh garlic, and capers. healthy amount of melted real butter poured over that then top with panco bread crumbs. bake at 350 for around 30 minutes. its good brother.
Of course brother, that’s actually my favorite way to cool pretty much any fish 😅
is that the 6k reel ?
Great outing. By the way, where did Capt Rob get that cool steal your face sticker with the fish on it?
Not to sure, I’ll have to ask
Awesome video! So cool they are picking you up for these trips. Your content and editing is spot on. I was waiting for you to drop a video Friday afternoon and nothing. I found it today, I had to resubscribe to your channel.
Y’all stay safe out there!
That’s super weird… wonder what happened. Thanks man! Always good to see your comments 🙏🏻🤙🏻
What time of year is best for fishing like this? Planning a trip and would love to catch a monster but would be more advantageous if I knew the prime months
My personal favorite time to guarantee fish and get volume is September to mid October (fall run) late spring is great too. Mid May to mid June. Thanks for watching
Come out with me for a day… I see this plus more everyday
Bro I have been wanting to go get one s bad just for fun
When you fish a spook, you want to fish it like a dock
Slower
First best RUclipsr
My guy 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I dont want to hear u say snook fight harder ever again after this video
At 4:27 you shouldn’t have stopped.
What pound braid did you use in this video
30
Ok Thank you
do striped bass taste like snook? or what?
I’d say similar for sure - snook is better
Locks the drag down then acts surprised when the line breaks 🙄
Bro and dude makes it hard to listen. I’m way to old!!!!
is there a link for their lures @AbenzFishing
