I wouldn't say Froch is useless because he is a former unified Super Middleweight champion and fought more or less all the top fighters in his division. Joshua has a resume which is definitely better than someone like Tyson Fury because he has made more title defenses against top heavyweights. I feel that Froch is bitter at the fact that he doesn't get the same level of recognition as Anthony Joshua, hence the reason why he keeps talking about his own achievements and is super critical of Joshua's career.
