I know I’m biased bc you’re my bf but you are such an underrated creator. The time and effort you put into each video is insanely impressive and every video you put out is such high quality. I’m so proud of you
For the record…I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING against squats…I think it is perhaps the king of all exercises and I recommend everyone to include them in your leg day. Let me know your thoughts on the genetics hot topic and what you guys want to see for future videos!
Bro you can compensate weak quads with bigger adductors. Train them with the machine. You can also train lenghtend partials especially on Isolation lift with are more peak contraction like the leg extension and leg curl
very true! to be honest with you, I was hesitant involving my hips in any way because what I have is still an ongoing issue but you have actually given me some things to think about so thank you
Do you think if you had the leg genetics you could get the same or better results just by leg extensions, hamstrings curls etc without squatting, leg press?
it sounds like an excuse but yes 100%...if I had better leg genetics I would get far better results with the same workout routine I'm on now with no squatting...but not gonna cry about it, that's just life and have to make the most with what I got! (don't neglect squatting tho!!) 😃
very true! they are quite fatiguing which is why I do such low volume. static holds forces the muscle to be in constant peak contraction and stimulates the greatest time under tension so it breaks down muscle fibers quite effectively. There have been several studies on the positive impact on static holds in relation to muscle growth and my training was heavily inspired by this as well as Mike Mentzer who definitely explains it better than me. I appreciate you watching the video!🙏🏼

I agree with the genetics, I literally never hit glutes or squats and yet I got a phatter ass than all the chicks at school. Make it make sense.

Boy with that big upperbody and those legs you can easly learn frontlever or planche. You should try them!

Weighted loaded static holds are very bad for muscle growth and they fatigue you for the dynamic exercises so theres not really a point

Well it seems like you not doing squats didn't shrink your legs, so I guess your good on that front lol
haha true, my legs seemed a bit more defined when I was squatting tho but overall I haven't noticed a drastic negative impact. THANKS FOR WATCHING!🙏🏼
