No matter how many times I see this I keep hoping, and expecting, Leo McGarry to walk into the scene. RIP John Spencer.

I looked it up: her sister did win the State Supreme Court election in 2012 that this reunion was an election ad for. Congratulations, Bridget McCormick!
I can't even tell how often I see this video show up in my feed and I never watched it, just seemed weird. It was really getting into it until I noticed the massive 4th wall break when Mary entered the room. It was so much better than i thought.
She's also now Chief Justice of the MI SC.
Sheen saying, "It's an Apocalypse Now?" is brilliant!
Most of the stuff was just making me smile knowingly, happy as a clam. That Apocalypse Now quip? Mr. Sheen got the pearl on that one. Literal "Laugh Out Loud."

I was today years old when I noticed that, and I watched this a dozen or more times when it came out.
For you youngins, Sheen was in a theatrical release movie, "Apocalypse Now" before y'all were born! The references in this add are stellar!
I think what I love the most about this is how natural them stepping back into these roles was. It was like no time had passed at all. Everyone's a little older and such but it was like putting on your favorite sweater. After a while it still fits and it fits perfectly

I was actually pleasantly surprised to see Toby back at his game again. This reunion was awesome and I wish they'd bring the show back. It was the best masterpiece on TV and their awards show proof of that!

I think it's amazing what these guys did. They got together for one day because they wanted to help and they did it for free; the entire thing cost like 5,000 dollars.
And a few minutes ago Bridget was elected to the Michigan Supreme Court! :)

I'm guessing this is set some point when Sam isn't there, you've got to remember as much of a main character as Sam was, he left halfway through and did not return until the end.

@@sykeassai Rob Lowe actually had a big falling out with the producers of the show when he was denied a raise, which is why he left the show in the first place. He was one of the highest paid actors when the show first started but CJ, Leo, Tobey and Josh threatened to walkout if they weren't compensated the same as Rob Lowe and the producers gave them raises, then Rob Lowe asked for a raise too and they told him to wait a year, then after a year they told him there wasn't any more money in the budget and he left the show, and they wrote Sam out.
So odds are extremely low that Rob Lowe will ever have anything to do with West Wing ever again.
There are no words for how happy it makes me to see them together.

@@s.p.8803 He was interviewed about it multiple times. He had a shoulder injury when he was young and lost mobility in his shoulders. The writers saw it on set, and were shocked, but then decided to write it into the character. Again, all fully talked about in interviews.
This is awesome. You can tell right away that it was done well after the series finale. Look at the age on some of these people!

Sheen had a heart attack twelve months into the filming of Apocalypse Now and amazingly was able to complete filming after recovering from it.

You guys are awesome. West Wing is up on Amazon Prime and I've been watching it (I was a little to young the first time around). Seriously fantastic television. So glad you could make it back together for a good cause! I wish more shows like yours were on the air.

EVERYBODY should do it the way we do it in NJ.
EVERYTHING appears on ONE side of a paper "sample ballot" a few weeks before the election happens. This guarantees that EVERYBODY has enough time to figure out not only which offices and public questions are up for grabs but also exactly how they are going to be laid out in the machines on election day.
Even during Presidential election cycles (when there may be as many as 8 different offices and public questions on the ballot) most people in NJ need less than 2 minutes to make all of the selections that they need to make because everything is placed on the screen with the national seats at the top of the page (POTUS, U.S. Senate, U.S. House) and the local seats continuing down the page in order of how many people can vote for those seats.

As far as I know, his patented "coat on" is due to an injury he had many years ago. I never really payed much attention to how he put his jacket on, but after watching The West Wing, I often notice it :)
