why not stick the gen 4 SSD on the back then leave the front SSD for a gen5 when you expand the storage. saves you removing the mobo in the future

not sure about overspending on the mobo and cpu cooler and taking a not so great am5 proc, i would consider downgrading to lga 1700 and going with a more powerful gpu

I just built my first PC, ITX as well! I was looking at the Terra but decided it was a little pricey for my liking. Btw, I am curious about your accent, which part of the UK if you don’t mind?

Hey! I have moved about a bit but mostly from centre UK / Birmingham accent. Which case did you choose in the end?

@@SimonsReviews I went with a case I found on Amazon. S300. Works fine for me and it’s about 305 mm wide.

@@tonitrus553I saw that one, heard good things about it. Great job on completing your build!

@12:35 Aren't you supposed to use the tiny rubber thingy that comes with the mobo on the SSD so it doesn't bend when you screw down since you only using 1 SSD?

Any coil whine or bad wifi?

    • @digitaldale

Yeah this B650e-i has pretty audible coil whine. Using OpenRGB for some weird reason helps reduce it though.

Good build but really cringe and not practical case, better look for an nr200p or lian li q58 , u may also want to take a look on the some few itx build videos like what OPTIMUM TECH does so you would have a clear idea on what are you doing, itx is not like any build
    Good luck

Thanks for your feedback. After finishing the build, the case is my favourite component and I can see why it has become so popular over the last few months! The build quality of the metal frame with the wood paneling looks amazing. Also, for passive cooling with no overclocking, temps have been better than expected.

@@SimonsReviews true but you don't have the ability to pop an AIO cooler which makes your cooling system upgradability very limited to short air heat sinks

@@kearmau5 honestly, air cooling is not that bad, this case can fit a noctua nh-l12s, which can cool a 7800x3D even; it's just that he chose a worse cooler for his build (the l9a) for... some reason.
