Hey great video, I believe Abram was called in Haran, not in Ur. In Haran, God told Abram to leave the father's household and go to the land of Canaan. Other than that great video, it's helping me with my studies!

But in Acts 17, Stephen said something else. In Genesis it even says that the Lord told Abram to leave his father's household. It's not of any real importance... But it's an interesting find. @@donhay8796 I believe the Chaldeans are the descendants of Chesed, the fourth son of Abraham’s brother Nahor (Genesis 22:20,22). The qualifier ‘of the Chaldeans’ to Ur (Gen 11:31) was probably added after the descendants of Chesed multiplied and become a tribe. I see no reason to believe Ur refers to Urfu. Possibly the legend comes from the idea that Urfu is near Harran, which may have been the place where Terah died after leaving Ur.

That Genesis 11:31 states that Terah took Abraham, I take as the Eastern way of honor. Abraham receiving the call to move, yet allowing his father to take the lead in the actual moving.

Ishmael was supposed to be the sacrifice and then as one of the gift from god, Isaac was promised.
There is great significance in the sacrifice. It had to be Isaac, the son who was born miraculously at the age way beyond child bearing. Note when you read the story in the book of Genesis chapter 22 in the Holy Bible that Abraham said to his son God would provide in a lamb, while a ram was provided. Also the name that was given to the mountain where Abraham bound his son Isaac: God will provide. These were prophetic messages that one day God would provide the one and only Lamb as a sacrifice in Jerusalem

Sorry for a late response. Abraham sent the sons of his concubines to the East. This would be the children of Hagar and Keturah. Both of them are called wives in other places, but in the context of his son Isaac from his wife Sarah, they are called concubines. My understanding is that Ishmael had a close relationship with his father Abraham and half brother Isaac after Sarah died and therefore he was present when Abraham felt his time had come and was present to bury Abraham within 24 hours, together with Isaac. The sons of Keturah lived too far away to be there on time for the burial.
The story is somehow wrong. Prophet Isaac was taken to arab.

The oldest reliable manuscripts do not mention Abraham building the Kaaba. There would be no reason for him to do so because he met God personally several times when God appeared to him in the form of a human. True worshipers of God do not worship in or toward a certain place on earth, but they worship in spirit and in truth.
