I've been playing a lot of Sandstorm Inaros, it's my new non-try hard go-to. Max Range is pretty silly, awesome for Netracells! Kills with Elemental Sandstorm appear to grant affinity to the Melee, I noticed things levelling very fast while I spin (put don't quote me on that). Helminths I've tried are Wyrd Scythes, Chyrinka Pillar, and Firewalker. Scythes was very cool, wait till all the enemies group up at the end, then boom, shred everything with Viral procs. Pillar was nice for making killzones and dragging mobs in, but just didn't feel as visceral as Scythes. Firewalker was great for boosting Sandstorm movement speed, and you can set a cheeky fire zone to dump dudes down into. What about a Toxin statstick with Archon Continuity, Emerald Shards, and Nourish? I definitely have more messing around with Archon mods left in me...
I have a stupid idea about this build that I feel I need to share, specifically regarding both elemental sandstorm and your companion. Helios w/ deconstructor and vicious bond might be able to hit the enemies in the tornado to strip their armor, with the sandstorm damage spreading it; While using a melee with some intrinsic combined element, (ex: keratinos for Viral) you could build them for heat corrosisive to add extra armor strip/ DoT effects on the enemies. Just some things that came to mind about this build that don't require a new Inaros :p
Maybe I'm over thinking this, but this kind of had me confused. Initially I thought Aqua Blades, mechanically, worked on a horizontal plane but clearly it seems to work more like a cylinder or column? Or was this just Sandstorm doing all the work and Aqua Blades only does damage on the initial cast before Sandstorm ramps up and lifts all the enemies above your head? Mechanically and visually something something seems off to me. I guess this is just my curiosity of the inner workings of the game getting the best of me.
Sandstorm augment procs enemies with status based on weapon damage distribuition for Venka it's 75% slash, which gets diluted/lowered in favor for the added viral damage, so the tornado mainly procs slash and viral by itself, PLUS the innate slash damage and procs from sandstorm itself, so yeah, aquablades may have contributed really just a tiny bit.
@@tonyoliver2684 The enemies get hit by aquablades a lot. You can test it by running a melee that has no slash. I think it has something to do with the enemies bobbing up and down.

Great video, but I don't really think aquablades is doing anything to the flying enemies, as they are well above the hitbox, it's your Venka's damage distribution doing all the killing most likely, as Sandstorm Augment procs enemies with status based on your Melee's damage distribution (thus Dorrclave is best pick for Slash+Viral or Silva and Aegis for Heat+Corrosive ). The aquablades should prove more valuable when using tornado exclusively as a group up, so when they are grounded they get constant slashes, but sadly you could instead just use your melee to finish(er) them. edit: - explaining my weapon choices: Dorrclave is pure slash by default, so no chance of other IPS procs (technically just IP, lol) diluting your chances of slash and modded viral. for Silva and Aegis it's similar, this melee is innate Heat, so no IPS procs diluting chances on Heat and modded corrosive or viral, but I suggest using Archon Vitality for Heat shenanigans. - for anyone more curious and willing to test, it should be easier to test how much work is aquablades doing by equiping the augment, as its augment will increase damage stored only when dealing damage, and there's a icon to see the stored damage IIRC.
I'm not convinced the aquablades actually do anything. I tried sandstorm with or without aquablades active, and it killed the same enemies in the same time. afaik they don't have any verticality that would be need to hit enemies in the sandstorm.
