Any church that kicks an elderly woman out of their church owned and operated apartments because she got behind on rent is a vicious and vile cult. Especially when Bailey has a mansion in North Carolina that he only stays in one month out of the year. There is no mediator between Yahweh and Yeshua. Then i started to study and research the Democrat and Republican Party in what each Party stands for and to my horrifying shocking surprise , that the Democrats are responsible for passing laws, policies, rules and legislations against Black people in The USA. Go and do research on Joe Biden and you find out how racist he is , there are printed newspapers articles where Joe Biden vote against blacks attending school with whites , his thoughts were that he didn't want the white race mixed with the Zoo and turn the school into one. I already know that the majority of Black people do not research on the people they vote for , they let the media and their favorite entertainers persuade them.

Republicans from the mid 19th century to early 20th century maintained a more liberal ideology for the issues of its time. The parties never flipped, the ideology did and the people remained the same. That’s why southern republicans hold up the confederate flag today, yet democrats championed that movement 100yrs ago. Republicans have the strongest familial and emotional connection to southern democrat confederates than any other party or people group. Read between the lines before you jump to conclusions.

My mom was involved with House of Prayer affiliates and they prayed to Daddy Madison. It was scary because she was born and raised in a Pentecostal home where my grandfather was a deliverance apostle. My children witnessed how they did a universal baptism in Buffalo where they sprayed members with a water hose saying OH DADDY! The music played was a New Orleans horn sound and believe me it’s real!
There is one here in Jacksonville Florida and I sung with a local group and they invited to come sing. As soon as we walked in we everything felt weird,.. we knew nothing about this church l. But just from the overall atmosphere we all wanted to walk about , especially when they started talking to the bishops picture calling him “sweet daddy Madison ooohhh sweet daddy.” 😒 need less to say we sing and left. They invited us to come back and we turned it down.
I attended a funeral there and when they replaced daddy with Jesus...Istarted praying Jesus! I promise never again.

You are 100% correct in reference to “Daddy Grace.” I’m from Baltimore, and we have several churches like that. I went ONCE to visit, not knowing what I was walking into. It took me only 5 minutes to know this wasn’t it, and I left. Little girls were dressed as maids. The girls took his coat and hat and extended their arms and walked up the stairs to put it down. People were throwing money and passing out. Foolishness

Yes, Bishop Grace was considered a wealthy man, but Grace was not about the money. When he came he sought the poor of our community. Uppidy black folks laughed at those who went to the House of Prayer (HOP). And yet, Grace founded the HOP on a solid foundation spiritually as well as financially in that he built the HOP with pennies and nickles, not dimes and quarters. He gave impoverished black communities hope, a sense of dignity, and respect that not even other blacks so fit. Grace came to lift up the rejected stones in our communities, demanding that they dust themselves off that they were somebody. Such are the stories I learned from my own father who is an Elder now Apostle in the HOP. Don't ask me about the difference, I don't know. But for those of us "Born and Raised" in the HOP, the only greater loves are our wives and children.

I know all about The House of Prayer. My family has been apart of it since Daddy Grace was over it. I still have family members who are in the church strong but, thank God my grandfather left there at a young age cause I would be a House a Prayer kid&& ion like that!

.... and it's everything!! There's a UHOP down the block from my church and a group of us would have lunch there almost every Sunday after our own morning service. The food was ALWAYS delicious and affordable and everyone in the "kitchen" was always very pleasant.
All UHOP sell food...kitchens are in them all...some just have more members that can maintain the kitchen and allow it to be open to the public.

Your views about The United House of Prayer are wildly inaccurate. Do some research, brother. Talk to some of the Elders and see what the doctrine is about. I don't worship any man and I am a proud member of The House of Prayer. Daddy Grace never proclaimed to be God, that's what the world put on him. Also, Daddy Grace went home to his reward in 1960. Bishop CM Bailey is our current leader.

I think it is unfortunate how much false information is spread concerning other peoples churches through channels like this. While entertaining, I’m not sure much of a message can actually be digested when it’s based on opinion and that opinion is being explained by a persona such as this “talk show host”.
I guess only one caller said something positive about the situation. Plenty of people are quick to condemn and throw stones at one church but are doing the exact same things in their own. Just saying 🤷🏽♂️

Actually, it's 12 weeks of convocation that happens in different cities/states for those 12 weeks. It's not required that all members attend each week, most members travel to different locations voluntarily because they want to.

Please Please Please vote Dem or Rep because if you vote Indep, you will help Rep President win. A split voting is not the way to go. The black agenda in either party involves who controls the House and Senate Dem or Rep...really the Senate! I was born and raised in the House of Prayer, and it is the House of Prayer that shall see me to my rest when that hour comes. But I dare not say that I speak for the House of Prayer. If you want to know about the House of Prayer, ask their spokespeople. And if you need to know who their "spokespeople" are, ask the pastor of any of the many Houses of Prayers.
You should grant all men the freedom to speak about those things upon which they have an opinion. And you should do so under the realization: "That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment" (Mat 12:36).
For any to claim that The United House of Prayer for all People (HOP) is a cult, we are to be aware that they are false witnesses. And because they bear false witness we are to be of the assurance that they place themselves in trespass with the LORD (Exodus 20:16). Though the HOP surpasses any description or categorization of a church. Because from its inception men associated it with James Warren Jones (Jim Jones), the founder of the Indiana based People's Temple. They fail to appreciate how the People's Temple died with their charismatic in Jonestown, Guyana on November 18, 1978. From which we are to draw the conclusion that such a church dies with its charismatic.
Our brother bore false witness to Daddy Grace, in that he claimed that our founding Bishop appointed his successor. He did not. He did, however, establish a process by which the Church makes its voice heard as for its next leader. A process he took from the Roman Catholic Church, as Emmanuel Grace was born and raised in the Catholic Church. This explains why we call the presiding Bishop "Daddy," not because we claim he's our daddy or a surrogate daddy. And what is a greater absurdity that we claim the Bishop is God...that's outrageous. It is because we recognize him as the Head of the Church, just as the Pope (Papa) is the Head of the Roman Catholic Church. But that's a "male and female" thing that most people would have no idea about. It's a metaphysical thing...I went to Sunday School so I am "True House of Prayer."
When it came to this convocation at the Mother House, though I was not there. I was told that distancing measures were taken as well as the wearing of masks. So it is not like the members did not take precautions. There were, however, people who did not adhere to the rules. And given that our convocation unfolds across 12, yes, twelve weeks. It is notable that you've only heard about there being a concern over COVID-19 here at the Mother House, which is the finale. And because it is the last, it is the largest. Can you associate that "Twelve" with anything, given our host made such a big "to do" about the protracted nature of the HOP's Convocation?
So, I must seal this with an homage to Naughty By Nature. Though I have no idea if any of them are HOP members: we allow our words and deeds to speak for us. We don't go around screaming "HOP." But you know how they close the show in "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." So, as an homage to my brothers: before you start running your mouth about things you don't know nor understand: Though all are welcomed, given what's in Her name (For all People): If you ain't been to the HOP; then You don't know anything about the HOP; which means you don't understand anything about the HOP; So you should take care to keep your mouth shut when it comes to the HOP.

I love you Reid, but giving the State Governors a TOTAL pass on what the President gave them the power to do or not to do concerning their State and their COVID response is not fair or accurate. The response was the STATE's decisions which is why some States are still closed and some are fully open. Please be truthful. Some States he told to close and they refused (New York) and when he threatened to intervene they finally shut down and then blamed him for being a hot spot.
I'm from N.Y. and TRUTH be told... folk THOUGHT they were NOT about to face what we did during this pandemic. NOW other states are waking up.

@monique cammon , yes, you make a very solid point. The House of Prayer owes no one, and everything that bears its name is paid for. And that is the reason the HOP is such a loud target. Yes, the Bishop could have handled community relations better. But we are looking at this from the outside. Given the HOP does not owe any bank or state, we have no idea of all that she (the Church) has to put up with when it comes to state officials.
And that's why, for those of us who are members, we know better than to run our mouth in the street about things we lack knowledge in. That's not cultish, that's respectful prudence. But if you ask any of us if we attend or belong to the HOP, you'll learn that we do not hide. Since we know you are freer to leave the HOP than to belong. And even if you leave, we still love you, and you're still loved. These types of actions and reactions do not make a cult.

@@Lollii_Popp, well, you must laugh at all Catholics. They call the head of their church "Pope" which is "Papa" in Italian. Nobody looks upon the Bishop as their natural father. We call him "Daddy" in recognition of how he's the head of the House of Prayer, as she, the HOP is our Mother.
It follows the male and female principle that pervades Scripture, of which I am sure you have neither knowledge nor understanding. As this church, as well as every other religion which bases its beliefs in the Bible, namely Judaism and Islam, lacks any understanding of how this principle pervades Scripture, given it's from the Beginning (Genesis 1:1).
And so, where there's one who lacks understanding and lacks the means to understand when that one speaks he does so in the manner and likeness of a child. Wherein he's offensive and makes himself an offense. Speak to those things that you know. While you reserve prudence upon those things to which you are utterly ignorant by remaining silent.

Because the 2 party system doesn’t allow for them to gain ground. If you live in Maine, Wisconsin and Minnesota then your independent candidate has a chance of winning because there’s enough people committed to voting 3rd party. In any other state, the 3rd party candidate will most likely lose. You start in those 3 states and strengthen the 3rd party organizing there then you branch out in surrounding areas.

I didn't realize it then, later the Spirit of Yah told me "because, Voyager, you will write it in a book, it will be for those who have passed, those who are living and those yet to be born. I was born and raised in the House of Prayer, and it is the House of Prayer that shall see me to my rest when that hour comes. But I dare not say that I speak for the House of Prayer. If you want to know about the House of Prayer, ask their spokespeople. And if you need to know who their "spokespeople" are, ask the pastor of any of the many Houses of Prayers.
You should grant all men the freedom to speak about those things upon which they have an opinion. And you should do so under the realization: "That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment" (Mat 12:36).
For any to claim that The United House of Prayer for all People (HOP) is a cult, we are to be aware that they are false witnesses. And because they bear false witness we are to be of the assurance that they place themselves in trespass with the LORD (Exodus 20:16). Though the HOP surpasses any description or categorization of a church. Because from its inception men associated it with James Warren Jones (Jim Jones), the founder of the Indiana based People's Temple. They fail to appreciate how the People's Temple died with their charismatic in Jonestown, Guyana on November 18, 1978. From which we are to draw the conclusion that such a church dies with its charismatic.
Our brother bore false witness to Daddy Grace, in that he claimed that our founding Bishop appointed his successor. He did not. He did, however, establish a process by which the Church makes its voice heard as for its next leader. A process he took from the Roman Catholic Church, as Emmanuel Grace was born and raised in the Catholic Church. This explains why we call the presiding Bishop "Daddy," not because we claim he's our daddy or a surrogate daddy. And what is a greater absurdity that we claim the Bishop is God...that's outrageous. It is because we recognize him as the Head of the Church, just as the Pope (Papa) is the Head of the Roman Catholic Church. But that's a "male and female" thing that most people would have no idea about. It's a metaphysical thing...I went to Sunday School so I am "True House of Prayer."
When it came to this convocation at the Mother House, though I was not there. I was told that distancing measures were taken as well as the wearing of masks. So it is not like the members did not take precautions. There were, however, people who did not adhere to the rules. And given that our convocation unfolds across 12, yes, twelve weeks. It is notable that you've only heard about there being a concern over COVID-19 here at the Mother House, which is the finale. And because it is the last, it is the largest. Can you associate that "Twelve" with anything, given our host made such a big "to do" about the protracted nature of the HOP's Convocation?
So, I must seal this with an homage to Naughty By Nature. Though I have no idea if any of them are HOP members: we allow our words and deeds to speak for us. We don't go around screaming "HOP." But you know how they close the show in "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." So, as an homage to my brothers: before you start running your mouth about things you don't know nor understand: Though all are welcomed, given what's in Her name (For all People): If you ain't been to the HOP; then You don't know anything about the HOP; which means you don't understand anything about the HOP; So you should take care to keep your mouth shut when it comes to the HOP.

I am also born and raised in the House of Prayer and love the House of Prayer with all of my heart but even I questioned the reasoning of Convocation this year in the midst of a pandemic. It was very irresponsible. Yes, a lot of measures were taken to keep this from happening but why put your children in harm's way in this manner? Who IS the spokesperson for the HOP? There is no one speaking to the city officials from the HOP to even work with the city on this issue. I'm sorry but Dad is wrong. He won't even allow anyone to talk to the media or city officials to handle business when all they wanted to do was host testing on the grounds FOR FREE! Why NOT?? Why is he running FROM the people of the city instead of working with them?? He's causing us to look very foolish. It's because of his failure to face this head forward is the reason why we're in the news now in this way. And why in the world is DM listed as a trustee on recent paperwork in the HOP?? He's been deceased now for many, many years. I love the House of Prayer but things are getting out of hanf. It's ok to question the man of God, especially when He is operating like he is. People are sick and dying for goodness sake!
@@lwil1381, I get what you are saying. I knew when I saw us in the news about this outbreak that the city and state were not going to get anything but opposition. And I have no idea of all the wrangling that goes on with the HOP and the cities and state where we're located. I know one of the greatest things is that the HOP does not owe any private or state entity, they pay for their properties and they pay their bills. And given how we are a covetous culture, in that we, as in this world, love money and will sell our soul for a few dollars. That's not the HOP nor the Bishop and General Counsel (GC). They do all they can to ensure that every financial concern is wrapped and sealed. I do not know why Madison's name remains on the document you mentioned. I am sure the HOPer's lawyers have reviewed the matter.
As for why they continued with Convocation, I have no idea. I have no idea how the Bishop and GC came to their decision. Given they did attempt to take precautions and follow city ordinances, with respect to what was demanded here in Charlotte. But as for contact tracing, I had a good sense that that was not going to fly. If the city and state did not receive resistance from the minister, given the virtually impossible nature of the whole process. As people more than likely came from various states, let alone various counties.
And so how'd they resolve the matter? If the HOP proved willing, would they, the state, demand a list of every member? That would be a violation of our Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights. Of which, is for us to be secure in our person (Fourth) and the government's meddling in our business without legal cause (Fifth).
As I think about it now, the city and state would have enough information to send out a general alert that for all who attended Convocation in our area to self-quarantine, if possible, and or contact their local health department for testing. But all of that would be a non-starter; healthcare ain't free and many would see ignorance as being bliss. Even more so, very few people would know about taking a probiotic and Olive Leaf to build their immune system (probiotic) and aid the body to kill the virus (Olive Leaf), which would lessen the fear of finding out. I know about these remedies, not cures because we observe these precautions in our home.
But I get your concern about how things look. It is always a good thing if we stay out of the news. There are a lot of green-eyed wolves out here always seeking a reason to destroy that over which they have no control. Since when you have your own money and you owe no body, as it is never about the message and messenger and the good the HOP does in the communities where she's located. You must always observe every precaution.
And yes, WE SHOULD ALWAYS QUESTION AND CHALLENGE OUR SPIRITUAL LEADERS. If not why they are wrong, then always why are they right?

It is to ask, why is it right? I know the HOP is right. But that is not so with everything that's taught. I defer to Dad based on the reality that I am not predisposed to all the facts upon which he bases his decision. I do not tempt the LORD by claiming that, unto himself, Daddy Bailey is infallible. There is nothing wrong with placing trust in what Dad says. But we do harm to ourselves and our faith if we insist that the ultimate test of faith is blind faith.
