- In an effort to keep the congregation clean, Jehovah's Witnesses disfellowship (shun) all unrepentant sinners. They base this policy on the words of Jesus as well as the apostles Paul and John. Many characterize this policy as cruel. Are Witnesses being unjustly maligned for simply obeying the commands of God, or are they using scripture as an excuse to practice wickedness? Only by strictly following the Bible's direction can they truly claim that they have God's approval, otherwise, their works could identify them as "workers of lawlessness". (Matthew 7:23)
Which is it? This video and the next will attempt to answer those questions definitively.

I was the victim of this entire process. Most unfair, unloving, and dishonest process that I have ever experienced in my life of 60 years. I saw firsthand that Gods holy spirit does not reside in any kingdom hall or mad-made building. Was paraded between 6 different kingdom hall committee rooms, all within a 60 mile radius. To this day I get a 'cold' feeling everytime I drive past a kingdom hall. Heres the great news to my story. I still love my creator, his son Jesus, and look forward to the day when God takes whatever steps He deems necessary to correct this dysfunctional world that we all find ourselves in. Disfellowshipping dogma has absolutely no biblical basis and is not sanctioned by God and Jesus. I had to look no further than to this false teaching to clearly understand that Jehovah's Witnesses are simply another group who are bent on following the rules of imperfect humans. I haven't got all of the answers, but I sure as hell know that any organization that promotes this unloving process does not have Jesus blessing. True,this shame & guilty process is very dishonest,unkind,unloving, without mercy,no sympathy,no lenience,unfair,so kangaroo Court, very bias,corrupt, pores,... No pardon of errors,,I went through it too,they found no case or basis for dfh, I was only put on restrictions immediately I was told to complain if its fair judgment,I said very aggressively this case is very unfair,someone must have plotted out this allegations on me.During my complaining,I mentioned one Elder who for sure plotted out as I point a finger at him--My badness,that Judicial member got upset,said "you're playing with us Elder",do you know us(Elders)? let's Show you how "powerful" we are",one other judicial member fake Elder tried to plead with that horrible upset Elder,but he just was hell bent insisting we need to dfh him,he's playing with us, 2minutes I was dfhed,Then I asked on what grounds have you changed your decisions in 2minutes after spending awful 2hours to come up with no case of dfh but restrictions but wickedly in 2mins I'm kicked out..That poisoned Elder bragging said we are elders,you can't question us,I was broken into pieces---That Evil Judicial committee woke me up to begin digging up, researching on how powerful Elders got on each individual JW member--Glad through my research I discovered that evil secret book for elders--I have been reading since 2016 & channels like this & have helped to understand this satanic motivated process ...Needless to say,this satanic shunning was started out in 1981 after Bro Ray Franz was dfh,after exposing criminal GB's dark sides...before 1980s they used to call shunning as pagan practices.. Hence JW religion is fit to be called a Pagan worship religion.

@year1914 For one thing, there does not exist any humans that are qualified or authorized to make these severe judgements. Secondly, the cleanliness of a congregation is not threatened by a 'truly' wicked member. Such individuates will fade away and will dissapear, never to cause anyone any spiritual damage. Mind your own business and focus on keeping your own relationship with God and Jesus in good standing. Let God do the judging since only He can reads hearts. Dont go 'beyond' what is written ... you'll be just fine.!
Good research . As a former elder , since I've started reading scriptures without Their tainted view , I've come to the same conclusion .

I read Matthew and Luke for myself without their tainted view and I realized that the Governing Body call themselves BOTH the Faithful and Discreet Slave & the Brothers of Christ.
The Brothers of Christ are the Domestics. And the Faithful and discreet slave are those who Cared for their Brothers.
They are applying each of the two parables to their convenience.
In other words, the ones who ask Lord, Lord is the Faithful and Discreet Slave. And the brothers of Christ are the Domestics.
So it’s a self-analysis question to ALL Christians. Who really is the faithful and discreet slave.

Hi, Eric, I stumbled onto your site some time ago, and ever since then I have made it a habit to look at all your videos, and wait in anticipation for any new ones to come along. I dissociated myself after being a Witness for over 27yrs, by way of a letter to the local congregation in 2016, requesting not to be recognized as a Jehovah's Witness anymore, the shunning started soon after, which was hurtful in the beginning but not anymore, I'm glad that I don't belong to that soul-destroying religion. The main reason I left was their doctrinal changes over the years which they call new light, the overlapping generation for one, and I found out recently that the "No Blood Doctrine" was introduced back in 1945, I wondered how could they be Jehovah's Organization, If God favored members before 1945 to have a blood transfusion to save their lives, but those after 1945 couldn't have one to save their life. God is not a respecter of persons, says the scriptures. I still can't understand why we are spoken about and victimized just because we don't believe in their teachings anymore? Thank you Eric for the well-presented videos, which have a clear understanding of scripture, which is not the way of the Watchtower.

Your Mom, like most Moms was concerned about your life, and that she was told that 'only those baptized' can be allowed to enter into the new system. Love her for that, but rest assured, your Mom will not be held accountable for following the 'human' teachings of the organization. My Dad, a special pioneer and circuit overseer of over 20, and I had these conversations on many occasions before he passed. He loved God, and the Bible, was involved in many judicial committee decisions, and was embarrassed by the things that he witnessed. Some people don't know what to do, and choose to simply 'wait it out'. Its a really 'screwed up' deal! The Governing Body and organizational hierarchy will be held responsible for how they chose to care for Jesus sheep!

I was watching a video of Lett going on about these "new scrolls" mentioned in Rev 20: 11,12.
He was saying how exciting it will be to read the new things Jehovah has instore for His people and how it will give us further insight into His personality.
But if you read that passage of scripture, especially checking multiple translations, it is clear that the bible is saying no such thing.
It's all a big scam.
To me their biggest crime is preventing the rank and file from partaking of the bread and wine, as the Lord instructed. Matt 23: 13.

I have held a memorial in my home for the first time after researching the truth about the truth and I told my very indoctrinated family, I am sure I heard a heart attack type gasp over the phone like I just committed murder my family took that very hard, I forget now but at Th at time had the scripture where Jesus is telling us to partake, but they would not even accept the scripture only ehT the watchtower says, I could of find anywhere a bible scripture saying only the ( 144000) were allowed to partake but us all , she interrupted me each time I read that scripture adding the 144000 but it was not in that or any other scripture, so I had to stop as I felt wrong arguing over a bible passage fir to me the bible comes first, not the watchtower but to her the other way around I felt broke in my heart that she wouldn’t accept the bible but the magazines first, I will not argue with anyone that will not accept the words of Jesus but of an imperfect group of men claiming g they are of the annoited class and are the only ones Jesus was speaking of, I have a friend after nNy decDes made a on the spur decision to get baptized, he told me about the 144”000 class allowed to partake and why , he was so brainwashed in just a few months I didn’t bother arguing him,just told him I follow the bible and Jesus first I follow no man he made his decision over the memorial duri g bible study indoctrination, I couldn’t undo the mess, I must say he had better morals Ect from studi g but to me if it didn’t follow what Jesus taught us, it mattered not we don’t speak anymore, I don’t agree with him and don’t wNt to have an argument over Jesus and Jehovah, he didn’t agree with me so I don’t know who stopped talking to whom I’m minding g my business here forth and take me it keave me, I belong to Jesus and his father

But in all honesty, when I opened the door and saw the new Elders on the appeal committee look at me, I could tell they only had one agenda for me that night. I say that not meaning to judge, but like Jesus, we can be people smart to know when somethings up.
@@alev4287 Its really too bad. I can remember every circuit and district assembly as we all worked in the food prep department. Socializing and enjoying each others company. Fun and memorable. Turns out that the doctrine wasnt nearly as important as the social interactions. Thats all gone now. What was once a really nice group is now just another group of 'zombies' glued to the prepared information that is sent from the theocratic hierarchy. All of the kingdom halls that my parents worked on, dedicated to the true cause, are now sitting vacant, probably never to be used to any significant capacity again. My heart is still with my creator and his son Jesus Christ, but I'm embarrassed that i drank so much Koolaid.

When I was going through the study process for baptism, the elder I was studying with once told me when I asked why some doctrines appear to be in contrast with scripture, he said "Ill trust in the governing body no matter what I think the bible says"
And that is how all witnesses think. Trust in men rather than God and his son. They say they trust in God, but then claim God FULLY trusts the governing body "faithful slave" (with zero evidence to support that claim) so they trust them without question no matter how much "spiritual food from God" turns into darkness and they have to get new light

Hazel Rivers - please be aware that ‘spiritual food’ is NOT given by any man. It is the Holy Spirit of God that will distribute spiritual food at any given time. Is he - the Holy Spirit using Eric Wilson to distribute spiritual food. I don’t see it. He rarely speaks of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ or the Gospel of our Lord 1 Cor 15: 1-4. He never tells HIS followers of the absolute necessity to be ‘born again’ in Christ. Lastly, Mr Wilson does NOT save any souls- ONLY Jesus Christ can do that. If you want to help your mother get the Reasoning from the scriptures book and go to the section on the cross. Look at the quotes and see how they end with the elipsis.... ( the dot dot dot ) Next, Google the publications that they quoted from and tell her to read past the elipsis. She will see that the quotes really say that Jesus Christ died on a cross and not a torture stake. God bless you.

Raymundus Martini was a Spanish Catholic Monk. (The Watchtower society even acknowledges this in the February 1, 1980 Watchtower magazine.) The Catholic Church is the biggest part of Christendom, which is a part of Satan’s organization. That means that Satan’s organization made up and gave the only true God the name that everyone on earth is most familiar with. Do you think the one true God likes to be called by the name that his arch enemy gave to him? @@w.derooij475 thank you for your message, i will try again but at the moment i am in the middle of it all, my wife is very dissapointed in me that i don't believe its "the truth" we argue about it a lot so i decided to stop talking about it because there is no point if she will never want to hear my side of the argument or show her certain facts.... about the organisation.
She doesn't want to know because she believe it will harm her faith and i am opposing it, but thats not how i feel it.

But the point is that the JW governing body teaches that Jesus Christ is not a mediator for all men, but that is not true. It is written at John 1:12, 13, that by Jesus' authority EVERYONE has a right to be God's children! Everyone who loves him has this right!! In your NWT it is written: However, to all who did receive him, he gave authority to become God’s children,+ because they were exercising faith in his name.+ 13 And they were born, not from blood or from a fleshly will or from man’s will, but from God." The point is, dear friend Efesios, that the JW men take away from you the chance to have eternal life because they take away your mediator, Christ Jesus, who is the mediator of the new covenant. In JW lingo, they make you just a "friend" of God where Christ is not your mediator. So who is your mediator? You have none if you do not partake of the emblems. Your sins will not be forgiven because you have no way to be reconciled to God. That is a wrong teaching because nowhere in the Christian Greek scriptures does it say that there are a group of Christians who are only friends of God. That is not true. The word Christian is taken from the word Christ, which means anointed one. All true Christians are anointed! They are all children of God. To believe otherwise is to believe a lie because Jesus invited everyone to be a child of God but those men say you cannot be a child of God you just should be his friend. It is the children of God who receive the Father's inheritance of ever lasting life. Don't you want life?
@@fidelfolozanoiii4499 No. Your statement is not correct. Jesus is not your mediator since you are not a party to the new covenant, with our Father on one side and the children of God on the other. You cannot be saved, your sins cannot be forgiven if Jesus' shed blood is not operating on you, in the covenant that makes forgiveness possible.
You cannot have your cake and eat it too. You have to either find your freedom in Christ Jesus through true worship or you follow men and their religious rules and lies. Those are the only two choices. Efesios, thank you for being civil and kind as I want to be too.

Efesios 5:8, if you say that the other sheep (99.9% of all Jehovah's Witnesses) have Jesus as their mediator, then you are preaching a teaching that contradicts the teaching of the Governing Body.

In flagrant disregard, Watchtower says Jesus is mediator for just the 144,000 anointed.
"So in this strict Biblical sense Jesus is the "mediator" only for anointed Christians." Watchtower 1979 Apr 1 p.31
"Likewise, the Greater Moses, Jesus Christ, is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind. He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual Israel, which is limited to only 144,000 members." If Jesus is only mediator for the few thousand remaining remnant on earth, who is mediator for the millions of Jehovah's Witnesses that do not form part of the 144,000?

Yet they do benefit from the operation of the new covenant. They benefit from this just as, in ancient Israel, the "alien resident" benefited from residing in among the Israelites who were in the Law covenant.-Ex. 20:10; Lev. 19:10, 33, 34; Rev. 7:9-15. To keep in relationship with "our Savior, God," the "great crowd" needs to remain united with the remnant of spiritual Israelites." Where is Jesus in that statement?
The 2010 book God's Word For Us Through Jeremiah continues to present this teaching, though so subtly that many Jehovah's Witnesses do not seem to make the connection that Jesus is not their mediator. It explains that Jesus mediates for the new covenant, which is for spiritual Israel, whom the Watchtower teach include only the 144,000.
"... the new covenant is between Jehovah God and spiritual Israel, with Jesus as its Mediator." God's Word For Us Through Jeremiah p.173
Under the heading of Mediator in Watchtower Index 1986-2000, there is the subheading "for anointed only:"
This remained the case in the 2016 index online at wol.jw.org Watchtower Index 1986-2016 .
Religions do not volunteer their most offensive doctrines to newcomers, and Watchtower doctrine about the mediator generally is not presented to Bible Studies before baptism. The word mediator does not appear at all in What Does the Bible Really Teach?, a primary teaching aid of Jehovah's Witnesses. Yet Jesus role as mediator is an important and fundamental teaching of Christianity, directly discussed in the Bible. In the Reasoning book the only mention of the mediator is in an unrelated manner that attempts to explain why we should not trust in Saints;
"1 Tim. 2:5, JB: "There is only one God, and there is only one mediator between God and mankind, himself a man, Christ Jesus." (There is no allowance here for others to serve in the role of mediator for the members of Christ's congregation.)" Reasoning From the Scriptures? p.184 par. 7
That is an ironic statement, since the Governing Body claim the Great Crowd benefit from Jesus role as mediator by being in contact with them.
Watchtower hypocritically criticises the Catholic teaching that Saints can be “intercessors with God”, quoting 1 Timothy that there is only one mediator, yet the Watchtower teaching that the anointed mediate for the Great Crowd is in the same vein as this Catholic teaching.
The Watchtower teaches that only 144,000 people make up the New Covenant, and that Jesus is mediator for them alone. Of the billions of people that have ever lived the New Covenant is only open to 144,000 people, around 50,000 of which lived in the first half on the 1900's.
By saying that Jehovah's Witnesses can only have a relationship with their Saviour if they are united with the Slave Class, Rutherford transferred tremendous power to himself and the following leaders of the Watchtower Organization, effectively creating the structure necessary for (and indicative of) a cult.
Disfellowshipping is the most unchristian practice one can come up with. A man in my parents hall was “coming back to the truth” he was disfellowshipped, for past sins obviously, a week later he committed suicide! Those elders pushed him over the edge & now have his blood on their hands! Too sad to even comprehend! The GB are ultimately blood guilty too!
They will one day hear those words: I NEVER KNEW YOU.

I was an unbaptized publisher. The reason I wanted to get out of the jw organization is because a lot of corruption, and also some bad apples still in the organization. Second, I get the 3rd degree from an elder, I because I didn't turn in my field service report. How could I, when I was still recovering from a mild stroke several years ago. This was the second time in 4 years apart. So to add insult to injury, the elder was conducting the watch tower kept repeating ( Just because someone stepped on your toes, you're gonna just up and leave) is if he was to get back at me because I'd came in my own defense.
This is not the first time I've had bad experience with jw.

No one is rejecting Christ so we can say they deserved to be shunned.
Christianity is not about eye for eye, tooth for a tooth but rather about love and forgiveness which Jesus demonstrated when forgiving a woman caught in adultery in John 8:1-11 which WT removed from their Bible because WT forgives no one.
It is expected that people sin from time to time since we are sinners but to shun someone it isn't right.

I can only imagine how complicated it would be to map out on a chart or blackboard what you have relayed to us verbally in this video. Okay, I'll just "say it",... holy spirit must have helped you unravel and expose the machinations of Watchtower in their judicial process. I will add that, when the Society WANTS to (and does) let an evil-doer off easy,... even completely "looking the other way",... it then labels as "unloving and vendictive" anyone who says that the judicial committee didn't do enough. So, first, they train the flock to believe their judicial process is correct, and then they condemn and chastise anyone who complains when they (out of partiality) don't follow their own process!

My father in law has been an elder for at least 2 years. Idk how he can in good conscience continue in this cult.

I will give you an example when I was 14 in year 9 in high school my mother went into hospital to have an operation my father told me that she might die as she could not have blood, now I had to cook clean and do all the things that mum did my dad was all the time yelling at me what was wrong with me I had not made all the beds, prepared the night's dinner, ironed my mum's night dress, so I put the iron cloth on the table to iron her nighty, knocked over something my young 1/2 brother had put on the iron cloth had to clean it up I got belted for being so stupid, I was in the year where I had to study for the Intermediate certificate, as I used to go to school earlier and do the homework when I got to school, the reason being my mum would not let me do school work at home. Well I prayed dear God do not let her die as I cannot stand this. I made up my mind that there was a lot I did not believe with the J W's rules, and went and found another religion.

I didn't realize that if you appealed a disfellowshiping judgment, that you would be forced to endure a longer shunning period. Makes total sense and the whole appealing process was a joke anyways. Even my brianwashed, fat, father in law admitted that he never heard of any appeal working to change the original decision.
The appeal committee was usually a bunch of friends to the original committee and would only support the original nincompoops.
Once, a sister came to me, very upset, to tell me the elders would be disfellowshipping her at the next meeting. From what she told me, the decision sounded completely unjust. I told her, "You can appeal! Write a letter. Make an appeal!" But she wouldn't do it. She was disfellowshipped and went on to live, what seemed to be, a happy and successful life. She had done the right thing, in her case, by not appealing. I now think that appealing would have been futile anyway. Like you said, John, it would probably have just been a bunch of friends of the first committee supporting their original decision.

Eric I listened to multiple videos and I keep listening as you believe in scriptural truths that many who decide to disassociate from Jehovah's Witnesses turn away from completely and start believing in the things such as the trinity doctrine which I find completely ridiculous. I even read a comment to this post that asked how could any part of a religion be a true if some parts are false, which is completely ridiculous. I am curious to know if you celebrate holidays such as Birthdays and other holidays?
I can't find any Bible prohibition for most holidays, like birthdays, or mother's day. I think the principle all should follow is this one:
“. . .Therefore let no man judge YOU in eating and drinking or in respect of a festival or of an observance of the new moon or of a sabbath;” (Col 2:16)
Of course, if a particular holiday directly violates some law of God, that should serve to guide one's conscience.

The Governing Body of JWs would do well to take heed of this scripture, and stop labeling as apostates JWs who believe in God and Christ, but who doubt them. The GB should humbly acknowledge that Jehovah organization is not above Jehovah God and Jesus Christ our Lord. The congregations of the first century were most certainly a fundamental part of God's organization. And they did not operate as the JWs do. The GB of JWs would also do well to listen attentively to what the apostle Peter said to those who would be leaders today, over the Christian congregation.

I keep coming across reports and accusations that JW's have covered over child abuse cases and not reported the abuser to the law enforcement agencies. In all my 55 years as a witness, a Bethelite, pioneer, and an elder, I never heard of any cases involving this most egregious sin. Is there anywhere one could go to provide compelling evidence that judicial committees did not report cases to the authorities? I've heard of alleged cases in the UK< but here in the US? Thanks for any references that might substantiate these serious accusations.

And how would you picture an entire congregation contemplating a sinners reinstatement? There are three steps that Jesus outlines. Matthew 18:15-17
The title of elder implies spiritual maturity. However, that is not the basis upon which these people are given that title. The basis is the number of hours they partake in house to house preaching, number of Bible studies they report, number of literature they place with householders, and regularity of meeting attendance. Based on these, and having no evidence to the contrary, moral uprightness is assumed.
Unfortunately, none of these things guarantee the person's sincerity of motive. In short, if the reason for all these activities is unchristian, then what we have is an agent of Satan among the ranks.
Such agents of Satan are mentioned in Jude as mingling among Christians in order to do harm.

As for the motive for all their activities, these can range from having an interest in a member as marriage material. The desire to seek someone to commit adultery or fornication with. The need to feel important in relation to others or Lord it over others. Or perhaps the need to get close to kids as a pedophile. Get one or more of such hypocritical bozos on a judicial committee, and justice is the least of their concerns.

Many ex-jws with vIdeo channels seem to be completely satisfied with ridiculing Watchtower's most obvious gaffs. But Eric's videos go deeper and tackle subjects that require a knowledge of scripture, history, and prophecy. He also encourages others to do what he is doing. He isn't trying to "corner the market". :)

The word church or congregation comes from the Greek word ekklēsias which means those who are called out. What are they called out of? Jesus speaks of wheat growing among weeds. So there can be no true religion or church or organization. What you have are weeds and growing among the weeds are true christians. The congregation the Bible speaks of are the chosen ones or those who are called out. Our job is to imitate the Christ, love truth, and obey the spirit. If you find likeminded individuals, join them, but don't look for an organized religion, because that makes you subservient to men.

The scriptures at Luke 6:32-36 want us to love our "enemies," but the Bible also teaches the discerning not to speak to fools, not to cast pearls before swine, not to give what is holy to dogs. Jesus told the Pharisees that they were like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and every kind of impurity. Please don't feel I am saying that you are any of these things, I am not. I am saying that the Bible shows us that we must make different responses according to the context of the conversation. At 1John 3:8 we read that Jesus was revealed to destroy the works of the Devil. That is a strong statement. Christians represent Christ, not men. Jesus said to those who worship men and follow rules like the WT judicial policies (with a 3 man committee and shunning for a year) which have NO BASIS in scripture, that "they worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules." Matthew 15:9.
