      Thanks. If you use a metallic yarn and a fancy edge, it will look fantastic. I will soon upload a video of a edging that is just right for this shawl!

    Love this simple pattern! I am a seasoned crochet artist, and I did another mesh pattern before, but I like the closer rows here and you explain it so well.. thanks a lot 💛💛💛

      Thanks for your kind words. I think we should not be afraid to adjust a pattern to our personal preference and experiment a bit.

    I *love* the shawl you showed at the beginning! Both the yarn and the stitch look beautiful. I'm going to try this with some yarn that has been too frustrating to use with more complicated stitches, so thanks for the clear tutorial! 😊

      Thanks for your kind words. This yarn is very delicate and looks beautiful even with the simpler stitch. In Crete we crochet these as wedding favors for the guests.

    I absolutely loved this tutorial! This is the shawl I need in Florida. Our winters are very mild, no sweater needed.

      I am glad you liked it! The Solomon's knot shawl is another good option if you use a summer yarn.

    thank you so much!! I've been looking for a meshwork design for hours, I'm a beginner so I tried several designs and got so frustrated that I almost gave up. This is the first design I could actually follow!! thank you for explaining it so slowly and simply!

    Thank you so much! I have been looking for a tutorial for a sariki! Can you tell me what size thread you use, the type (cotton, acrylic), and the hook size? Also, do you have a video of the tears? Thank you!

    • @theevolutionofstitches6615
      @theevolutionofstitches6615  Год назад

      Hi
      The thread is silk made from plants. In Greek it is called mprisimi (μπρισίμι) .The hook size is 16 but it will depend on how tight or loosely you crochet. One of my next tutorials will be on the "tears".
