- In an effort to find the ultimate THANKSGIVING DINNER for truckers on the road, Indiana Jack searches truck stops along the way to celebrate while being away from home. See if he finds it.

Thank you Jack for another great video. I spent my worst and best Christmas at a Dennys. Was the only customer and the staff joined me for dinner and stories . I am still thankful to that crew even though its been well over twenty years.
My wife works at a retirement community. She is working today. When you care for other human beings you can't put getting a holiday over the needs of others. Respect to everyone out there , doing their job, what ever it is you are doing, while the rest of us get an extra day off.

And you affect our lives more, and more often, than any other industry. Daily. That's why I always get in the Granny lane when the Big Trucks roll by- they're important! Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving Jack hope u had a good one. I made it home earlier yesterday morning. Wife's kids was happy to see me. Pulling in the driveway. Happy that I am home 4 a week. Will head out next Sunday. But have a load to do tomorrow. Just 3 hours from here. The kids are happy they get to ride with me. The wife's going to shes happy. But is happy when I announced that I am going to be working locally with the company. Cause always gone all the time. And kids hate it when I video call them on Facebook. Cause reception is not good without using WiFi. They will think I am heading out but will be confused seeing a plain cab backing in the driveway when I start doing local runs. And I will be home every night. Can't wait when the kids realize I am adoption them. There real dad is a deadbeat dad. Which has allot of warrants.
Ah, for the good ol' days when most truck stops had real restaurants and special holiday meals. Happy T-Day, Jack - Scorpio

Since I live alone, I ate my Thanksgiving dinner while watching you. I was happy to see this was a long video. Instead of Turkey I had chicken and no side dish, but the side dish I'll save for the next meal. I always enjoy riding along with you regardless in the Sweed or another truck. After all these years of watching, I'm still always grateful to see you've down loaded a video, and I thank you for the extreme time & expense I know it takes to bring us a 39 minute video. I know you had to work, but I hope you at least had good thoughts on Thanksgiving. You would think the truck stops would have Thanksgiving dinner's made that they could put in a divider carry out box & for that I'm sorry. Always a pleasure riding with you Jack....................

Happy thanksgiving. Had to have some work done on my truck one time our mechanic had his wife with him. We got something to eat at a truck stop the waitress come to our table and said do you want some more tea honey his wife didn't like someone calling him honey she was going to say something about it to her she looked up to and the waitress was looking at her not him. We all got a big laugh out of it. The waitress called everyone honey. God bless you.

Jack, that pilot you stopped at in Lincoln was originally a Wilco. Pilot has been trying to expand that location, but the back and forth between Pilot and Speedway is one of the reasons why there s no showers or restaurant. They re supposed to be putting an Arby s there too

Jack. Do what's best for you. If you want to dispatch go for it. I will miss your adventures.
Your concept of "Ride along with Me" adds the personal touch that makes "our" trips interesting. And your comments about the industry, other drivers (including 4 wheelers) , the lack of "deliveries signage etc. makes for an interesting video. Sometimes the road/engine noise does overcome your voice commentary making listening difficult. A stronger voice to road noise ratio would be a plus. But I will continue to stay tuned in to Indianajacktrucker, you are the head of the class.

With all of today's technologies, why isn't there an alarm system on those doors to alert the driver of a breech in a open locked door. Maybe someone broke into the trailer and the driver was unaware of the open door....just a thought. I like the video. I saw you in flying J in San Antonio Florida in 2019 between thanksgiving and Christmas. It was then I discovered your videos. God Bless you Indiana Jack and your family.

Early on (1955) the Load Board was a large Black Board with chalk entries as I seen in Los Angeles when my dad & I brought a grain load from Texas to a turkey farm in Lancaster, Ca. After checking the load board at the LA truck stop we found Dried fruit (prunes&raisins) in Fresno, Ca going to Cleveland, Ohio. It was my first West Coast trip as a 10 yr old enjoying a road trip.

I’ll be dang. I bet I was just a couple hours behind you Thanksgiving morning. I left home in Shreveport and headed eastbound on 20. I over indulged on the Thanksgiving buffet at the Petro near Birmingham at exit 100 then bared left on 59 and turned north.

I consider most days a thanksgiving day. Enjoy my life otr. M thankfull for what i have/get every day. Can"t imagine myself in a dusty office or faktory. Am i lucky, so much to be thankfull for.
