That the question asks is what we get when we have markets that appeals toward classes (rather than needs) that in real life materially manifests not just on the road, but in culture, society, _procurement of asset wealth_ ...
Bentley making SUV's? An obscenity. The founders of the company would be spinning in their graves, just like William Lyons would be if he could see what has happened to Jaguar.
This hatred for SUVs is already pissing me off, if that's what people want, that's what they're going to manufacture, I'm sure your mom wouldn't mind owning an SUV, that if she doesn't already have one, are you going to hate your mom? I hope not, so shut up and accept reality, is SUV or bankruptcy what do you prefer?
@@superfisher4379 in reality with these monstrosities, it isnt. Those idiots who buy them might as well buy a large sedan instead, as these things will never go off road, not once in their lives, but figure that their ostentatiousness stretches to these vulgar boxes.
@@stevem-h3562 Well to be honest I actually think high performance SUVs are pretty cool. What I'm saying is it's not much different from Bentley making a great big gas guzzling sedan. At least with the SUV there's a little bit more utility in it. I think people also like sitting up high or at least higher than a regular car. I really wish more automakers would make high performance wagons like the RS6 Avant or the AMG e63. Now those are really cool.
It's exclusive! It's hideous. It's quick! It's hideous. It's got a sumptuous interior! It's hideous. It's gorgeous! That's a lie... Sorry, neighbor had one in Redmond WA- my old Plymouth was more appealing...and trouble free
This man could probably convince me to buy a Lotus 7 with this kind of slick poetry. I hope Bentley let you keep that badboy for that brilliant exposition. 😁
the rich really do have a lot of fun I don't care what anyone says 🤣. and if you think this is expensive wait till the electric one comes out. then it will be a battery hog. unlikely cost 30% more than this one if not more. well I sure wouldn't want to work on that I would love to drive it I bet it's a lot of fun.

How is a SUV any different from a large sedan?

What do they go for, and is left hand drive available?
The front grill needs a fix-up. Looks like it's missing. Makes the front of the car look like it came out of a body shop.
Great for ski trips, if it doesn't break down along the roadside.
Not many dealers in my neck of the woods.
Should compare it to the King of Torque, the 6L twin turbo Audi Q7 V12 TdI. That hit 1000Nm at 1750rpm and just staid until the red line arrived.
"You're a wizard Bentley!"
There has always been a massive difference between need and want.
Nobody gets to decide what I need.
V8 =GOOD. nuff said 👍
