Tim's performance on this song alone should get him all the respect he is deserved. This is absolutely CRUSHED!! I think he was amazing during his run with Priest!
I saw The Priest on this tour in a relatively small venue in Columbus, Ohio. This song BLEW ME AWAY. Most of the audience was standing there afterwards, mouth & eyes wide open in absolute awe of what we just witnessed. Fucking incredible 🤘🎸
I've always loved this particular live version, with the guttural backup vocals, the toned-down guitars and Tim's shriek during the chorus; unique and heavy as hell
They did not made the best albums with him, but a few good songs. And say what you want, tim ripper owens def has a voice to kill for. Sadly, even with all musicians and big bands he had been in, he has not risen to the power.
Tim crushes this...then puts it in reverse and drives over it again. Monstrous performance and if they had just played it in the original key..(Tim's got plenty of range for that) it might be one of my top five Priest performances...Halford included.
I saw Priest with Ripper 3 times, I thought they were great. I hate to say it, but when Rob came back his voice was shot, Ripper was clearly his superior.
robs voice had put up with decades of strain by the time he came back, and he was much older, his voice changed its a fact of life, it wasnt shot though he just had to reinvent his style
Writing FACT after your statement, does not actually make it fact. This is a semitone lower than the album version, Owens was always a good Ripper, but a piss poor Halford.
@@Glamosapien Robs voice now is better than Rippers voice now. or even 3 years ago. During 92-2003 rob was better than ripper but after that... rob had trouble 2005-2008 period.
Always thought Owens was better. Fans are loyal to Halford for good reason, but Tim's voice is just meatier & ballsier (no pun intended). Halford's voice was always so whiny & thin.
Can someone please tell me what happened here? Never heard of this change (although temporary) in Priest's line up. Wtf happened to Rob? This Ripper dude ain't half bad vocally, but I thought this may have been a good Judas cover band! What the hell is the story behind this? I guess I missed out on a lot while in the Army. Thanks for any info. PS: I also missed the "Blaze Bailey" thing in regards to Iron Maiden, as well....but, I'm up to speed on that, now.
Purists may cringe at the made up lyrics for the chorus, but this version is simply scorching. Only complaint: his stage presence is just awful. Ranging from silly to corny.
LMFAO!!everyone that's saying ripper rules must be from Akron.I understand hometown love but come on. Your boy Ripper had a chance but that's over now.he was just a guy a the right place at the right time. Otherwise he would have never been looked at. Hes kinda like that dude that your girlfriend goes out with just to get by for a minute or to make you jealous. still to say he's better than Rob??Nah. He's good but not even close. I'm pretty sure y'all don't believe it even when you say it. Pretty sure they had to bring him in because they were under contract to make two albums and had to do something. I forgive them

Holy mother of God
RAPID FIRE!!! BETWEEN THE EYES!!! RAPID FIRE!!!! TERRIFIES!!!!
Love the heavier tuned down guitars during the ripper years. Glenn and KK killing it !!

best version ever

The ripper did a great job in priest 🤟🎸🤟
He was the right man at the right time

That made chorus is actually pretty cool, it fits well with Tim's style of singing
Yeah this one kicks total ass.
Increible!!!!! The midle part!!! ❤
Melhor dupla de guitarrista de heavy metal
Depois de Murray & Smith e Mustaine & Friedman
I was at this show, it really KICKED ASS !!!!
Ripper rules ! Guitars sound so killer , so tight here ! Smaller venue and amp backline , made this so powerful 🤘🤘
Awesome show that I was lucky enough to be at. Roseland was over packed.

Wow! Glenn shown all he got these night!
I was at this show as well...kick ass, thanks for sharing!
CON Ripper Judas se moderniza y fue una máquina de matar!! Jamás tuvo que volver Halford
Tim crushes this...then puts it in reverse and drives over it again. Monstrous performance and if they had just played it in the original key..(Tim's got plenty of range for that) it might be one of my top five Priest performances...Halford included.
The best fucking riff of Judas, Ripper Owens sings it perfect
I’m old enough to have seen the British steel tour in their heyday and yeah this song is bad ass. I got to give the guy credit who is not Rob Halford
Ripper Owens today sounds better than Halford ever did when he was the same age. FACT.
Writing FACT after your statement, does not actually make it fact. This is a semitone lower than the album version, Owens was always a good Ripper, but a piss poor Halford.
lucky man!

Tim Ripper Owens Rules men!

fuck yeah!
На сумасшедшем форсаже спел 2 куплет, бриллиант...
1:14 🤘🔥
KK with unbleached hair!
would like to see ripper re-unite with priest, and of course it would be great for K.K. and Glen to re-unite as well.

Judas Priest info pages has all the answers
Incredible ! Halford doesn’t even sing the chorus anymore which is the best parts of song
Vamos Judas la reputa madre que los parió!!!
Owens is an awesome singer, no stage presens though
O kur Robis dainuoja?
Hay magia negra
Wait a minute, who is this straight dude with a wife and kids rocking hard?
I like ripper better with priest than iced earth.
CARALHO, QUE FODIDOS
Almost the same chorus as Firepower
This is Rapid Fire! With a sing chorus, not the original shit with no lyrics...
Chorus sounds worse in my opinion, prefer the no lyrics chorus. But everything else sounds killer!
some people don't belong
He sings it better than Halford. There i said it
Not even close.
But Rob WROTE IT!@@dmitryowens
Camera guy was not good at all...

@@jfhall2011 heh heh..."hunched over like a candy cane . . ."
I can see that. Good one.
give me a break
Better than Rob...
Not even close.
Those made up lyrics with the title in them just don't fit in.
driffter1976 finally!!! dude, i mean no disrespect for the ripper but just doesnt fit at all...
Ripper did a better job on this song.

ripper just does this song better sorry
Camera guy sucks
The chorus he made up was horrible
He didn't make it up Glenn and KK did for the 98 studio version
Sounds like something a 13 year-old would write.
wtf is this??
they arent judas priest
I was there!
