Formula Questions on Canvas: Overview

Learn how to use a Canvas quiz feature (formula questions) to generate unique questions for students. This video is an overview with some examples. Parts 1 through 5 are more scaffolded and eventually lead to more detail. (I redid this video to improve the audio).
A little bit of work on the front end can save you time later, and you won't have to deal with creating lots of versions of questions yourself and pulling from question banks or groups so much. You can have students' questions be different based on a formula and randomly assigned values. This can help minimize potential cheating and assist in seeing if students have mastered concepts.
