    What a change from the standard figures. Curious to know how the drive train handles the extra kick

    Seems the SA dynos need proper calibrating than the ones we use here in OZ...

    • @maplotter684
      @maplotter684  6 дней назад

      This is actually the same type of power shown by many dynos there in OZ the only difference is here we work on flywheel power where there you guys usually go on power at the wheels , alot of people here do not get the consept of power at the wheels and then think the tuner is not making good power so that is why most of then stick to flywheel power

    • @plug007
      @plug007 4 дня назад

      @maplotter684 how do you check the power at the flywheel?

    • @plug007
      @plug007 4 дня назад

      That's what I thought. Strange

    • @maplotter684
      @maplotter684  4 дня назад

      @@plug007 you do it on the dyno ,same way you do the power on the wheels , its a setting that you change on the dyno itself to show power at the wheels and then the flywheel ,all manufactures quote flywheel power like the hilux that is 150kw and 500nm , that is flywheel so at the wheels it probably makes around 130kw and 400nm

    I'm surprised you were still having to change gears with all that torque!

    • @maplotter684
      @maplotter684  9 дней назад +3

      I like to keep my revs between 2100 and 3000rpm , remember with the bigger turbo there is a bit of lag ,even though you have enough torque at lower rpm it just drives better between 2000 and 3000rpm

    gee that cruiser sounded good when on the pedal.

    How is the gearbox and the clutch holding with such power

    • @maplotter684
      @maplotter684  8 дней назад +1

      @@mohammedmuzakkir9803 gearbox is fine , I did put a heavy duty exedy clutch kit in to handle the torque , if you go past 1200nm then I would say you have to do the flywheel upgrade aswell

    Got a mate with one doing over 1100nm, he's blown 2 turbos in 12 months

    • @maplotter684
      @maplotter684  8 дней назад

      His cruiser is probably over boosting , we are still far from maxing out the turbo , this is a safe tune peaking at 2 bar and pulling back to 1.95, the g350 is built to handle up to 2.3bar and keeping it there ,if I was your mate I would go to another tuner . This is just my opinion but if he is blowing Gturbos then there is definately something wrong with the tune or he did not do the supporting mods

    No need to get this much torque…

      I put the safari armax package on mine after 3years. It certainly made a difference in torque, and in NZ I found out it had to be certified as the law was worried the emissions system had been by-passed.
      I took the system out again to get an injector arm and sensor replaced.
      Have since sold the cruiser as I no longer need it.

      @@tonyf7997 800 feels good until you get in one making 900 then its not enough and once you go in one making over 1000nm then you want that , if you do the mods right ,it is also safe
