    I've never seen an E Cells bike put through such a test before. I own one and I know that they're heavy and a bit awkward but it shows what you can do with a skilled rider.I though the test was great. I do like how e cells is improving their bike .It seems they have tweaked the bike from customer feed back and there own experience.

    GREAT REVIEW! Thanks. I have the very similar E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown. My Bafang torque sensor is in the crank area tooand works well. I do like the King's Crown and if my bike is ever stolen (it's insured) I'll get the King's Crown B/C I NEED that power to haul; boned out big game meat out of the outback when hunting Nevada. Dave Cleveland designs great bikes of Hugh build quality.
    You have riding SKILLS!

      Yeah, well I hope yours never gets stolen. These things are absolutely perfect for hunting and trail riding. Will have another video coming soon stay tuned thanks for watching.

      @@Trailtested For the best security I could find I bought a British made LITELOCK. This U-shaped lock will require FOUR angle grinder blades to get through BOTH sides B/C cutting through just one side won't permit removal. There is no KRYPTONITE lock even close to this LITELOCK. ALL KRYPTONITE locks get sliced with ONE angle grinder blade. The LITELOCK core is made from pressure sintered special alloy and it it nasty tough.

    • @Trailtested
      @Trailtested  Месяц назад

      That’s great information on that lock. Maybe I will review this lock and see what it takes to get into It sounds like a really good option.

    What is all the rattling on the bike, is it the rear rack, kick stand or battery and can it be made to not rattle?

    • @Trailtested
      @Trailtested  2 месяца назад +2

      Yes, the rattle is fixed. It was the front metal fender guards bumping against the front forks. Ecell is aware of this and the problem fixed!

  • @pgiinc

      If your not trying to go full air time send this bike is much superior and smoother for moderate trail riding and low key city ripping.

    how do people afford bikes like this? Is it all owned by people who live with their parents or something? I'd LOVE to have a bike like this but 4500 is a lot to swallow for a bike and I'm someone who has biked just shy of 1k miles since June.

    • @Trailtested
      @Trailtested  2 месяца назад +2

      This is definitely not a E-bike for the average Joe. This is a real mountain bike with premium top quality MTB parts. Lifetime warranty on the frame!

    • @97JoMiller
      @97JoMiller 2 месяца назад

      @@Trailtested I am just shy of 1,000 miles of riding since June... I'd say I'm not the average rider. BUT it could not replace my vehicle.. maybe for some, but I live in a very rural area where the grocery store is a 30 minute drive from my house. Door Dash, etc... does not even come out here. I don't doubt that it's all top quality parts. I'd LOVE to have a bike like this but I just don't see how that could ever be something that an average person who's struggling to put food on the table could afford which really stinks. I'm not trying to sound like a pitty party because I'm doing better than a lot of people and I do have an e-bike. The 1200 I spent on my bike was a HUGE stretch, I just couldn't imagine something 4x the cost. Is it really 4x the value? I'd love to ride one and find out haha.

    • @Trailtested
      @Trailtested  2 месяца назад +1

      You are a commuter you are the average Joe and nothing wrong with that you can spend $8000 on a bike with half the power and a carbon fiber frame don’t worry about the price It’s about how hard you ride it! Do you ride hard? Do you fully send it? If not that’s ok

    • @97JoMiller
      @97JoMiller 2 месяца назад

      @@Trailtested I’m not a commuter… I’m a hobbiest… I just like riding a ton of miles when I do it. And as far as sending it hard. It depends on my mood. I NEVER intentionally send it over a cliff but I would be a liar if I didn’t say that I have sent my bike over things that I didn’t intend to just because I’m clumsy and don’t pay attention. Mostly what I like is trail riding and exploring things I haven’t seen before or paid attention to. Range and speed matter to me because I also ride quite a bit on rural roads and well people are a-holes.
