Greggo HJ’s have had those chips for a while now. With regards to the drink, HJ’s has purposely put that bit on the side so you can just push it in and drink it straight from the cup. No straw required. Quite genius as these days the bloody straws everyone uses is crap!! So we’ll done HJ’s… Great review as always Greggo.. 👍
Hey mate the Double Bacon Deluxe always has one piece of bacon and that is why I got a Double Whopper with Bacon and Cheese which made it the bigger version of the Double Bacon Deluxe and HJ's changed their chips a couple of years ago....
There's no such item as a "Double Bacon Deluxe" it's just a standard Bacon Deluxe which comes with 2 beef patties by default. But you are correct about the single bacon serving.
1) The chips are thicker, they used to be like Macca's style fries and the salt has a KFC salt flavour to it which is so much better. 2) where you stabbed the straw in, if you fold the tab back and push it in; they are now made to drink it like a sippy cup. The lid locks on for a "no spill" design. 3) love your reviews, keep it up 😉😀
I still remember when the burger first appeared, it was the bacon double cheese burger. No salad or sauce just 2 beef patties, 2 pieces of cheese and 3 strips of bacon. It tasted beautiful, then they added the salad and sauces and even if you order it without the salad and sauces it has never tasted the same. I dont know what they did to it but they wrecked a good burger

Actually, compared to bacon in America, which are relatively thin slices, that is 3 to 4 slices of bacon. It looks more like Canadian Bacon....which is thin-sliced ham.....

Missing the stripey towel for the in-Triton reviews there GregO… these burgers are a great snack item with that orsm ‘burgers are better’ seasoning…. Jackers fries rule the roost of fast food chippies IMO… sans tomat and a great snack worth the money but no more… cheers Gibbo
Hungries did change their chips to thick cut maybe a year ago. and are the best fast food chips these days in my opinion Maccas always cold and unseasoned KFC always soggy Red Roostet just taste ok
KFC depends on the location, where I am it's usually the chips and burgers that are consistently good but the fried chicken is hit or miss. Other places can be the other way around.
Every bacon deluxe I've had has been a hard, cold chewy ball of inedible shite. Up yours Hungry Jacks. Even if they lift their game, I'm not coming back. Snack bar, steak works burger all the way.
What more do I want ? Meat that isn't as dry as old boot leather. But I have to say out of all the fast food take away H J s' wld have to b the better.
