Tilda rice and an 'Oodie' coming your way from the adverts there GregO - I reckon you'd look great in oner those... I'm still missing the stripy towel... Imagine if that ham was cooked up to crispy status how much more flavour it would add... Looks can be deceiving uh as that was a sloppy build. Priced pretty competitively considering you do get extra cheese, sauces and bacun over the normal BJ... Think that peppercorn was the sauce they used on the Chicago Whopper which was well received so looking forward to giving this one a go on your recommendation. Cheers Gibbo

Hi Greg. Went & checked the HJ's website & it is suppose to be BACON. This is what it said... Two Flame-grilled 100% Aussie beef patties, topped with double bacon, melted cheese, creamy peppercorn sauce, smoky BBQ Sauce and lettuce on a toasted sesame seed bun.
I have had 2 of these. 1st one asked for extra sauce. Tastes AWESOME. Second time forgot to ask for extra sauce. Tasted Great, but not as peppery. Needs that extra sauce. It's a yummy burger😋

Cooked ham is cooked ham, not bacon. Ham comes from the leg/thigh of the pig. Bacon comes from belly/back of the pig. Look completely different, taste mostly different.

And I bet that “ham” was advertised as bacon, but they didn’t care about cooking it and just slapped it on. Even their promo pic seems to show it as being cooked. Plus virtually no lettuce. I guess it’s meant to be a ranch style burger with flame grilled beef, a pepper ranch dressing, bbq sauce and bacon. Good in theory but if the cooks gave a damn it would have been as they designed it- better.

What’s wrong with customer service in Australia. The haphazard and messy way that burger presented wasn’t showing a lot of love. By comparison, in Japan the burger would be meticulously made and well packed. Maybe it’s the management and mentoring of young workers in Australia that needs attention. Or maybe it’s our slacker work ethic.
Yeah I just love how the idiots just think by adding bacon and a new sauce that they classify it as a new burger.. all these places are just getting boring now since they really aint creating anything new..

All maccas buns are something like 30-35% smaller than they were 10-15 years ago, I can fit 20 on 1 finger now
I have always preferred Hungry Jacks/Burger King over Mc Donalds, the chips are amazing and the rebel whopper and the big jack/big king are amazing
