Look, I’m from Boston, mom’s side of the family are cattle ranch owners in Montana. I spent my summers on the ranch. Don’t really know about how tough this stuff is. Played hockey my whole life, but will give the not to anyone in rodeo as the toughest in sports. These kids are awesome!
For the people hating this event makes the kids strong to be determined and to be fearless people don't just see it as them getting hurt see it and them building their futures.

Hahaha I was pretty good at the rams and aced that every time, not as good with the calf’s and steers but still getting there 😂😅, one of the youngest in my state doing it Rn , i do mini broncs too but on my pony at home , he was supposed to get broken in but ya know , turned him into a bronc 😂

To all the naysayers.. just think these boys are living a life to its fullest. They all choose to be somebody more bad ass than you. From my experience I can say bull riders are crazy not stupid. Cocky but in a humble manner. The more you find it hard to watch the more you realize you cant look away. We are the main event. Enjoy the show. Get some!

In 60 years of observation, have never witnessed any cattle of any size suffer any injury from being ridden. It is the riders who are most at risk of injury and there are a lot of those. I think you should ask a large livestock veterinarian for a better opinion on the question.
Calf’s aren’t made to be ridden. So it most likely it feels the pressure of something on it and a tight rope around it waist, so it’s irritated. This seems like child and animal abuse.

Most people express their negative views for this game is not a meaning of educated or uneducated because most people they don't like stupid game. all the people are curious to know something & learn something from the social media but they can can learn from this game. My grandpa used to make me calf ride to entertain him for free when I was 7 years old made me a tougher kid I still have the scar from the rock I fell on
This is so fucking funny the kids clearly don’t have the ability to stay on them for any measurable amount of time and they all get severely hurt... why do they do this
wait.. isn't it abuse? like.. those calfs are just kids and they shouldn't do something like that. you are easily stressing them and they can get heart attack from the stress and pressure. also they are really fragile in bones. u can break them easily even if it's only 2 seconds. i was in a show like that last year. and i saw a calf running in circles after throwing kid off. he tripped and broke his leg, poor baby was put down

how to score these? riding time should not be the only criteria, cause some cows are just too crazy
