- The National Junior Bull Riders Association (NJBRA) held its 2018 National Finals competition in Amarillo, Texas with the best qualifying young competitors vying for the top honors in their age group. #JuniorRodeo #BullRiding #NJBRA
The NJBRA has 6 age groups:
6 & Under Mutton Bustin
8 & Under Calf Riding
11 & Under Steer Riding
13 & Under Peewee Bullriding
15 & Under Jr. Bullriding
19 & Under Sr. Bullriding

This is rly cool and I love watching it, but I just wanna say I love how well trained the horses are to when they're herding them back to the pen.
It's not as easy as it may look you gotta be tough mentally physically ,you can't cry over a broken bone ,you gotta work hard at learning ,it takes grit determination ,and money for fees travel and all that and you can get your ass bucked off in a couple seconds .but it's fun as hell and if your good it's more fun .ill tell you youngters it's not for everyone and not all of you will make it butt you can't find out till you try .

I’m not very good and I’ve bucked off almost all of them but I keep getting back on more and more cause that’s all it’ll take to become one the best. Just keep getting on until you get it right is what I always tell myself!

How do you get into bull riding and I wanna start but idk how to. Do I just sign up for a rodeo and send it. Can you let me know
If you don't know any cowboys or where they might be found, try going to a local farm and ranch supply store and ask your question. Another way, try some google searches like these. "bull riding clinics near me" or "bull riding schools near me". You will not be able to ride a bull at a rodeo unless you have some training and experience. But most likely you can go to a rodeo and talk to some people gathered behind the bucking chutes.

Takes some practice. Then try it out
If you need some practice and don’t have access to a bull or bucknbarrell, take a big cooler, put it on some unlevel ground, kinda shake the cooler with your legs and practice your upper body balance
When you first start bull riding how is it like? I might try it out but I’m not sure if I should, it looks fun though

Not sure it's the same association but I rode in njbra back in the 90's
I was not involved during those years but I would assume it is the same organization,.
Cool I am 8 but I just barrel race bulls are cool and all but if I got on one as soon as I sat up straight I would have flew off but thats some good talent good job man and if by the way I am speaking I am a girl just so you know

I love how the black and white bull keeps bucking then its like "oh its over"
They are pretty smart ,they get to no we're they are and what time it is when they hear and see the sounds and lights ECT of rodeo .they do there job for 8 seconds and go chill eat drink and relax .better then going to slaughter like all other livestock .
I feel like i'm to old to start bull riding i'm 16, but all the pros start from when they were little
My best friend did not start riding bulls until he was in university. But he had a small build and had won the Texas State Champion Wrestler in his weight division as a senior in high school. So I think it was his strength and wit that were mostly responsible for helping him to stay on bulls for the 8-second whistle. So I don't think you are too old at all if you have the right stuff to begin with.

hi im 14 and im tryna get into bull riding do you know how i can apply to rodeos?
I’d go to a bull riding school first to learn the basics then find your most local rodeo organization and follow them on fb or something and see when they post for call ins to rodeos and you call the number tell them you want to enter the bull riding then show up and show out ole son
I started at 14 but never went to a school I’m 17 now and I’ve won a good amount of money now so it takes time but once you get it you got it

@@xernr6267 id do both the school will get your fundamentals and getting on helps you get your timing down also get on a fat horse bareback it helps your balance
