Good to know about the stiffness, another thing that should be said... A stiff chain is a bent chain, the way the chain stiffens can cause it to bend and you don't want a bent chain.
Peru makes good chains but if ur looking for a nice figaro or whatever type if chain in either silver or gold, Mexico does a damn good job making jewelry
I wouldnt trade my Italian made rope for any other chain. Love it. I prefer that slightly looser look and for me, my rope isn't stiff at all, just be aware that all Italian ropes aren't like this one in this video. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with these Peruvian ones though!
@@KevinWoodzMTL I went to the district. You have to just go to the jewelry district they're everywhere there. If you do it online it's just pointless and no ones going to want to respond to you. it looks like the actual strands of gold on the italian rope are thicker, and thus make it a looser twist and stiffer drop. The ones from Peru are smaller strands of gold, look much tighter, and just look like pure class.
I got a 2.25 solid 14k yellow at like a mall jewelry store. My fist rope, but that looser, more flexible feel is all day. I didn't even know if it was Italy or Peru, was my first chain. But i could feel the difference all day. Its almost like its oiled. Great craftsmanship.

The Diamond cut that you like and sell are definitely the more preferred of the 2. Though I have seen Italian gold with the diamond cut same as your Peruvian made Ropes. The softness is a better overall feel as well as the diamond cut Peruvian rope looks more authentic in sorts. The other Italian gold Rope looks more like a golden metal Rope because of the way it looks and coils in the hand. Definitely love my 5mm Rope chain that's Italian 14k and looks the exact same.
