Shoutout to all the parents who introduced us, the newer generations, to these classics. This episode is one of my all time favorites. The jacks, the "TAKE OFF YOUR HAT" part, the "bright" jury, Polly, the "re-enactment", the "tarantula", shouting like Tarzan, it's all ingrained into my brain.
I have this short on DVD along with the other shorts. Your grandfather was the heart of The Three Stooges. He will never be forgotten.

This was so Good, I could never get enough of comedians that were ORIGINALLY funny like Curly, Jim Varney, Art Carney, and Don Knotts.
Just the randomness...Larry the Tarzan, Curly acting like the defense attorney is going to slap him around, Moe telling the prosecutor he's superstitious (while Larry says "Ooh...a wise eye kid.") and of course...A TARANTULA!

Oh wow, this looks like a brand new print! As a former theatre mgr & protectionist in the old 35mm film days, that's saying something! The sound is also brilliantly restored!
Curly G, you are doing a KNOCKOUT job keeping the "Stooge Magic" alive. Your ancestors "Mr. Howard, Mr. Howard, Mr. Howard," & the irreplaceable "Mr. Fine" are absolutely beaming at you from them Pearly Gates. You have a Golden Age of Hollywood FAMILY LEGACY in your hands unequaled by very, very few & you've handled that responsibility with honor, pride, integrity, & the most important of all - LOTS & LOTS OF LAUGHS!
This short is the most beloved, most well-known of the whole Stooge library & the boys are at their peak. This is the zenith, the apex of what a "comedy short" was. Like the Vaudeville stages that preceded it, it's a lost art form... or rather WAS a lost art form! One of the best things about contemporary social media, is that "short content" has found a resurgence. This is very much how long-form radio has been resurrected from the small handful of local AM stations to the thriving medium we know as "the podcast". Because of efforts by people like you & your amazing team, I can introduce my grandsons to these magical productions. But enough of my rambling, on with the show!!!

When I was just 14 years old a bad thing happened and I had to testify as a witness in court, of coarse I was nervous but thinking about this episode got me through it.
It’s this short, and “Sing a song for six pants.” That are my personal favorites, cause you see so much drama and comedy in a short time and still laugh at it every time.
I know every dialogue by every actor spoken in this short every time i watch it i always repeat the words spoken by every actor I can't even count how many times I watched this short 😂😂😂😂
5:23 - 5:25/ Anyone else get a kick out of Curly being so nervous that when he's approached by the attorney, he instinctively raised his right hand and took off his hat using his left hand?😂❤

When I was a kid in the 80s like 1985 during the summer my foster mother got me three stooges on VHS 📼 tape lol this one and 2 more shorts also was on it. She knew it'll keep me busy during the hot summer days at home when school was out for the summer. This was my first time introduced to the Three Stooges, I was hooked for life on them, they never get old, they can cheer you up. Thanks Brad for sharing. Your the man. Stay awesome 😎 i was 9 in 1985.

I started binging these shorts in early 2016 as curiosity of looking for the 2012 film got the best of me, and my first short that I watched was "I Can Hardly Wait". The rest was history from there. Of the short films that I have watched in these seven years, I think that this one along with "Punch Drunks" would be the ones that I would most come back to for a laugh.

I love this episode it make me laugh all the time, I watch it so many times and listening to it, and it was the best when I was a kid. And your Grandfather Curly Howard is totally the best and wonderful stooge ever he makes me laugh. Moe, Larry, Curly, Shemp, Joe, and Curly-joe are my favorite Stooges of all times.

My favorite Larry moment was when he stomped twice on the wad of gum and started screaming in victory in the courtroom! 😂
My father myself and My little sister would sit in his room on his days off and watch these man those were good times.

When I was a kid, my family lived next door to a man who worked for a TV station. They had 50 16mm reels of 3 Stooges shows. The man gave them to our family and we rented a projector and played them non-stop. I still have some of them.
This was one of the shows.
I love how Moe literally grabs the pistol from the police officer's holster, fires five shots, and doesn't even get arrested!
I love this episode I still watch The Three Stooges every Sat night & still laugh even if I saw every episode a hundred times. .

good section begins at 6:08 , with 'Gail Tempest' doing some hep nightclub style dancing a short while later. (The 3 stooges perform the lively music which accompanies her dancing) They are trying to re-enact what happened on the night of the crime, according to Curley, so the jury can better understand it.
