Just wanna drop in and say when I first looked into using SLOG I had looked forever trying to find a video that made sense. A lot of other videos were so convoluted and used LUTs that were rather expensive. The free LUT you included in your video completely changed my work. Fast-forward to the present day and I now do videography full-time. Without your videos I wouldn't be where I am, thank you for everything.

Thank you for this tutorial! For me your video about grading the S-Log2 was a life changer! 🤩
Now i own the A7 IV so i'm using the Slog3 in 10bit...so i'm very happy about this new video!
Do you have any tips to how to correctly expose the Slog3 without an external monitor?

Check out the 80's retro pack by Triune Films. I'll add a link to it in the video description.

Wait wait. So the rec709 adjustment layer goes BENEATH the color grade? 🤔 I thought it went on top.

Hi Timmy! How to light Slog2 video for face and sky. I don't want the sky to be overexposed and the face underexposed. Can you help me find a way to do this?

i have a question sir. i film in slog3 then i make 2 adjustments layers. one for the lut (creative Look) and one for the slog3 to rec709 conversion. Which one needs to be on top?

@@dean9504 Put the conversion layer first, and then the creative layer on top of that!
