I feel like only a few people actually remember that this is just a TV show and not everything is supposed to be seriously. Violet is getting too much hate and it’s kinda sad.
Yes, this is only a television show, however, the subject matter is based on the fact that the mother wasn't there for Violet, and that pain is hard to bare!
The thing is you have to be there for your kids in the FORMATIVE YEARS OF THEIR LIFE. If not whatever you try to make it up in the future, it won't work.

Agreed I have no sympathy for Violet she is such a nasty human being. Christy may have been an alcoholic and drug addict but she got clean and has apologized for her past behavior. More than most parents in real life have done.
Something Creative it could be too late but she blames Christy for all bad decisions she does in life, and that's not how it works. She's an adult after some time in the show and she should be able to do things by herself, not because of her mom.
It is a bitter reality. Violet holds bitter resentment for her awful childhood. It's sad because it happens. I've seen it among my own family. My mom wasn't the addict, but several close relatives were.
Don't know why people would give Christy a pass to being mean to Bonnie, but not Violet for being mean to Christy. At least Violet isn't in AA so that's already better than her mother. So cut her some damn slack. She grew up with a drunk druggie mom.
I don’t think the daughter was rude in this scenario she was in a very nerve racking situation and her mom kept talking while I’m sure there was 1000000 things running thew the daughters head I know the mom was trying to be helpful however the daughter asked her to give her privacy and to please stop talking so she focus and the mom did neither of those things she told the mom directly why she didn’t want her in there and she wanted her grandma because her mom would lecture her and that didn’t help the situation
Hayley Palm I agree...it's a little awkward when Violet referred to Bonnie by her name, rather than "grandma", but since Christy and Bonnie were estranged for so many years, Violet never really got to know Bonnie as "grandma." Violet was "distant" and "cold" alot of the time (because of her upbringing) and didn't bond easily with anyone.
Agreed. You never saw character growth from her. Her last episode ends with her during a podcast saying that we don’t need to have a relationship. Violet never admitted to her wrong doing. Which is really annoying because after a while she was just being a brat. Because Christy was doing everything to make amends. She was doing everything to make things right and Violet never gave her credit for it.
Omg it is my fault HAHAHAHA
''Good girl'' 🤣🤣🤣 I love this show 👏❤🤣
I hate how nasty she is to her mother! Like give her some love!!

@Hi-Fi Studios good point, i guess th
Yes, but it also took Christy years to forgive her mother; now it’s going to take Violet years to do the same thing.

As much as I hate to say it. Sometimes its to little to late

No offense but Violet is so Annoying!. Christy is so genuine. 🥰

Violet is a horrible character and brings the show down
