    Just spent 2 hours looking how to merge a time lapse to a normal video with no joy, well that was until I came across your video, Geat video and helped me not only join the files but also add music. Thank you again and have a wonderful Christmas and even better new year,

    Well done - it seems like Photoshop includes a lot of video editing features, which I actually like, since they allow video layers to be configured "as if" they were regular layers, e.g. apply effects and such directly on them. I guess this will only work within limits - this is _not_ Premiere, after all! - but more than enough for my own purposes for sure.
    A question I've got, which seems to be soooo basic: you showed us how to add _additional_ clips and let Photoshop render the final result as a single video. In my case, I do a lot of cutting (getting rid of unwanted frames, making the scenes flow better, and so forth) which then leaves me tons of little snippets all around the place. It's true that they're inside the same Video Group but... I'd like to merge them together, so that I can apply a filter or mask to _all_ of them. How do I accomplish that? "Merge visible" layers will only 'fuse' together everything in a single clip, all of them starting on the same frame, and thus only one of the videos will be visible (usually the longest one), the rest being opaque and therefore 'overwritten', so to speak. What I want is to combine clips together and turn them into a single clip. The 'obvious' solutions (i.e. dragging & dropping, overlapping videos, etc.) seem to have completely different effects, and I cannot seem to find an option that says "combine two video clips into one". Is that possible at all?

    you can just convert the layers to a smart object by selecting the layers and right clicking. will combine the clips.

    when i do this, it opens the second video in another tab....can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

    • @hectorcornejo1468
      @hectorcornejo1468 3 года назад

      if it opens it into another tab, you can grab the video like a block and drag it to the right or left of the video you had already put down. So pretend you put down Star Wars the New Hope and then when opening Empire Strikes Back, it shows up on another column. you can grab a hold of Empire by holding the left mouse button and just drag it behind the New Hope and off you go.

      Try turning your volume up! It plays as normal on my pc. You're the only person to mention it after 12,000 views.
