"be careful" sounds like a guitar threat

As a composer I will include “be careful” or “with care” as dynamic markings in my sheet music

One of the reasons I play with the flesh of my fingers instead of the nail. I use my nails when I want to emphasize or brighten a note, such as an open treble string

Very very good advice, just in time since I’m learning “Home” by Andrew York, it has open strings on 1st and 2nd. But the 1st string open string is the trickiest for me. Thank you so much! 👍🏽. What guitar and strings that you play in this video?

Can anyone tell me what’s going on with the high fret cut out situation? I’m guessing this is a very classical guitar noob question.

Is it just me or does the open string still doesn't sound good? Like lifeless, as if is a poorly built guitar. Perhaps it's just the micing, cause that open string has no brilliance/clarity to it

The string sounds a bit out of tune, tiny bit sharp I think?

the beauty for me is in the intervals. If the intervals are spot on, (both notes equally “flat” or “sharp”, it is still… “in tune”

A compensated saddle would help these guitars so much lol

You don’t need perfect pitch to hear when a guitar isn’t properly intonated.
