@@frogsaup This meme needs to die already.
I know the Swedes had to invent some way to devalue Finns after they could no longer rule Finland just to preserve their ego.
proud to have mongolian blood. that made as badass af. best of the nords.
HELLO FINLAND FROM INDIA! I don't know the language still sounds awesome
Not only do I play mountain dulcimer, but I just spent a few hours learning about the Winter War. As a second generation Finn, (US), love it all!
Is this the language that Tolkien fell in love with?
Edit: By the way, it sounds beautiful.
Bit late - but yes.
Nice. Thanks!
Ie, Ffineg a sawl iaith arall, gan gynnwys Cymraeg
Yes, Finnish a several other languages including Welsh
It's great! Best wishes from Russia.
Kylä vuotti uutta kuuta,
miero päivän nousendoa.
Miepä vuotin minjoavani,
miepä vuotin minjoavani.
Nouse sorsa soutamasta,
nouse sorsa soutamasta.
Nouse ilman nostamatta,
ylene ylenemättä.
Pole jalka portahilla. (but it sounds like the singer says "ole" instead of "pole"...)
Toini poikkipuoliselta. (but the singer says "-lla" instead of "-lta", I wonder why)
Assu hanhen askelilla, (but it sounds like she says "astu" instead of "assu"...)
taputa tavin jaloilla.
Kylä vuotti uutta kuuta,
miero päivän nousendoa.
Miepä vuotin minjoavani,
miepä vuotin minjoavani.
Miepä vuotin minjoavani,
miepä vuotin minjoavani.
kiitos paljon!
Kun min kultani tulis

Thank you for posting! I'm only 2 generations away from having grown up with this language, one day I'd like to sing this myself. Thanks again!
Just listened to a few Finnish songs, they sound beautiful!!!
Finnish songs are really awesome
How beautiful it sounds, it's almost like a native North-American Indian melody!!
It could be Saami/Lappish because their music is similar to native American folk and it even sounds like it.
@@user-dc4bl1cu2k more likely a Carelian song. Saame language and melodies / musical style are quite different.
It does.
@@user-dc4bl1cu2k nope this is Finnish...
@@elainelouve bruh no. Its literally a Finnish folk song.

I love Finland. Lovelots form the Philippines.❤❤❤❤
Keep producing beautiful music! Love it! Thanks!
The Finnish part of my family came to America late 1800s/early 1900s. My grandmother remembered my great grandmother (or, maybe her own grandma) speaking Finnish. They lived in the upper Midwest as I recall.
hello finland from germany :))
Helloo
Hi Russian flag
germany+russia = europe save from USA terrorism and pushing her immigration agenda into european countrys for white genocide. USA is behind all wars since napoleon (france revolution)
Germanystane ?
never believe in news is all run by freemasons is all fake. if you think germnay is germanystane what is russian then? russia have more muslims than all of european countrys. and the fatest muslim grow as well
Very beautiful!
Really nice :-)
Rakastan tätä laulua
👌
Idk the meaning ,but this is beautiful :)
Oh yes, Varttina sung that one.
I’m such a late Hongkongnese
the instument sounds like Turkish baglama.

I heard that the finnish language isn't a germanic idiom. Anyway, i find awesome and beautiful the entire scandinavian culture and landscapes.
Yes Finnish and Finland is finno-ugric. Also Finland is not scandinavian
Hei hei from Italy, Merja. I tried to get in touch with you on the email address provided here on your RUclips channel but with no result. Would you please let me know how I can communicate with you regarding a project? I love your wonderful voice and I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Many thanks, Valentina
I want to learn this language so bad, someone know where?
I’m a American of Finnish ancestry... great grandmother was Sumi or however you spell it... it’s old enough in Minnesota I thank God I wasn’t born in the tundra
Thanks for strengthening the dumb american stereotype.
Does someone know the main instrument in the song?
lute (saz), also check description for more info
what does kylä mean
village
Saz mı çalıyorlar anlamadım ki?
Onko se kantela?
Se on “saz” (Aserbaidžanilais)
What is name of that insturment?
It's voice look like very much to Azerbaijani music insturment "Saz"
I think this is kantele or guitar
it is saz
@@stupidchukhna3111 woow Finnish bro . we Azerbaijanis have such music insturment and we say to it Saz. and People who can play Saz called : Ozan or Ashug))

It sounded like Japanese to be quite honest 😅
Lmao what Japanese have you been listening to?!
Bruh. I don’t like Finnish and Japanese are at all alike.. in any way
Finistan
your country is jewishstan
Look at your country first, filthiest country in the world and lots of uneducated retards.
Sounds very Appalachian
I'll go a step further and say it sounds Irish.
kiitoksia paljon teille Amerikasta USA
This is just as the same Turkish ballad "Sepetçioğlu Türküsü" from Kastamonu Turkey. ruclips.net/video/vDCg5KhhBGI/видео.html
"Kyla" in Finnish coresponds to " köy" in Turkish which means village in English.Similarities exist just like ballads.
