Apparently using the Remover on a Sentinel causes a Segmentation Fault when Inferno was playing that part after releasing the Undefined update.

Dude it's available as a mod for MCC! Just pull up the workshop & search cursed halo! It's pretty easy to install manually to the og halo tho
