Tips I have found. 1) Spray chop sticks with cooking spray. 2) Make sure your spin area is clear of obstructions as once you start you are out of hands. 3) Start pulling chop sticks towards center when you get your first bubble in the eggs. 4) Have a broiler hot already and finish in broiler to cook running eggs on top. (after plating, pop the whole thin in) 5) I have found corned beef hash and dijon hollandaise are perfect for this.
@@DanKhooProductions is it fair to say though that even simple dishes can be 5 stars? I mean a dish could be difficult to make but ultimately be a terrible recipe; while, a simple dish could be amazing.
Nice job! Egg cracking tip: Don't crack them on the edge of a bowl. That pushes the shell inside and you can end up with tiny bits of shell in your meals. Instead, crack it on a flat surface like the kitchen counter.
Hello kelly. I am aware that this comment is 2 months old but if you still intend to do this you just take a small cup, put rice in it, flip the cup, let it sit for a minute, and pull off the small cup.
Thanks for making this video! I’ve been trying to figure this out for several weeks without success and with your technique I was able to make 2 tornado eggs back to back!
I think i have to cook it on a lower setting. Lol i was able to do a little twist but it cooked so quickly thqt i couldn't spin it anymore and it just started to break. 😅
Thanks for making this video. thanks to you, I can make these eggs easy! It’s always awesome when people make instructional videos with detailed info to help you understand how to do things and why you need to do things a certain way. Again thank you for teaching us how to make these eggs! 🙂👍👍
hi, thank you for the technic reveal. it works for me from scratch👍🏽i had only a little spin, if i want more spiral effect, do i need a bigger pan, more heat or more speed ?
Thank you so much, you showed everything clearly and with a couple of tries I'll probably be able to get a cute tornado (I don't know how to control the chopsticks well yet haha)
That tip help tremendously, needed a bit more oil so we ended up with scrambled egg, but I have a feeling it won’t take me long to figure it out now! Thank you!
My name is Daniel and I'm a huge fan! I'm a Chef aswell but I unfortunately have a disability epilepsy so I stay out of the kitchen... Kinda 😝🤣🙂 Anyways I keep up with videos and was a breakfast chef at "The Egg And I"
Don't crack with a bowl, crack with knuckles! The knuckles of your hand, one knuckle away from the outermost knuckle of the first and second fingers. "But it hurts" it does at first, but after a few months of cracking eggs every day, you will see a thicker skin forming on those knuckles, a bit like when learning to play guitar and getting used to it, then you can carry on doing it when your hand has toughened up. Some eggs take a hard hit to break, some don't. Just hit it softly then harder and harder until it breaks... you can carefully open an egg so there is no broken shell pieces, by slowly opening the egg at the bottom where it's at the opposite end to the more broken and fractured part you whacked with your finger digits, and you can easily get the whole white and yolk out this way. With enough experience you can end up never splitting a yolk. Good luck!
Well, my first time I got it to twirl for a couple seconds and then the center ripped apart, but im proud of myself and my girlfriend loved it anyways, thank you 😊
...................... I don't think anyone will get this first try. I sure didn't. This is one of those practice, screw it up, practice, screw it up, and then one day, it will just come together, and we remember what NOT TO DO.
This is neither a Korean egg dish nor a Korean style. This is called "Dress de Omelette Rice (Dress De Omu-Rice)" and is one of the types of Omu-Rice in Japan. It is a Japanese egg dish made with Japanese recipes. It's a shame that many people mistakenly think it's a Korean egg dish. Just tried this for the first time....guess I'm making scrambled now lol.

This is perfection!! It's not easy to do this!
Hmmmmmmmmmmm so i find you AGAIN
You have become the new Justin.Y.
Yes it is..
Awesome. I'm always using a spatula and spinning in the flat pan... similar in nature, your's is much more delicate.. I'm going to try that.
Thanks buddy, you make it look easy.
Oh boy that looks great 😃 am going to try this !
Looks beautiful. Why dish rating only 2 stars?
because its quite easy to do haha. must reserve stars for more difficult dishes
Why ate you every where

Great tip. My failures yesterday and today tasted just as good as my success last week. This tip will definitely up my success rate.
2:00 how hot did you make your pan?

If u see tiny bits of shell then use the shell to take it that's the best way
@@asharahmad1068yes, that's a good tip that not everyone knows. Works like a charm. I was in my 40s before I learned this. How embarrassing.
I saw someone on TV say this many years ago and ive been doing it like this ever since.
It's also the number one reason for a broken yolk.
Teaching the teacher. Good job.
This has been the ONLY video that really showed you how to do this correctly. Do you have a video of how you do the rice? I cant wait to try this!!!

I'm going to try it, and watch again, and again.😊and see how it's go.
So cool! Even want to try it with fried rice! Some hot sauce yum
Thanks for making this video! I’ve been trying to figure this out for several weeks without success and with your technique I was able to make 2 tornado eggs back to back!
Your explanation was sooo clear
I’m sure this has been said before but is it more hurricane shape than tornado?
Thank you so much!! I agree--of all the videos online for this, yours actually is the most comprehensive!!
Watched the video and followed the technique, exactly. Came out beautifully and tasted wonderful. The texture is so creamy!😊
Great tips, thanks for the tutorial!

I think this too what kind of sauce Hot or mild or..?? Nothing ...Ok.! 👍🍁🍷🍸✌
it’s thai chili sauce! it’s sweet and spicy.
LOVE IT! Good job, Chef!
What kind of pan are you using?
Thank you. I shall now give it a try. You're a Good instructor.

Can add heavy cream?
I needed this, thank you.
Thank you! I've tried so many times but this is the first time I got close to the result I wanted
Awesome tutorial! I've been trying this for months and couldn't get the center to hold together. Guess turning the pan is the trick. Subscribed!
I love making them like this.
Perfekt...great
Very nice! Thank you
Excellent!!!
The rose and the bottom egg shell is the same
Awesome! Thanks!
To me the omelette gets torn/breaks if not at the first twirl then at the second 😫 should I cook it on slower fire?
I guess your egg is sticking onto your pan. Try to use more oil maybe :)
You need a new non stick pan for this. Its your pan
I saw a finished egg tornado and thought that is so cool! Thank you for teaching us! 😊
Thanks the first the useful tip! To not pull it to the centre which I’ve been doing it for the past 3 attempts!

Does it work if I use butter instead of oil?
thanks mate for sharing!
Nice music too
Thanks dude!!
Noone sais what temperature should be the pan.
0:44 is that a sample of the "oh my" magician guy?
I mastered the French Omelet and Souffle Omelet. I'll soon have this one too.
I had the French omelet mastered and then I didn’t practice for too long 😅 I’ll have to try the soufflé omelet as well.
I can it but the outside ends still look a little rough so I need more practice
Just a little tip. Crack eggs on a flat surface. There is less chance of getting a piece of shell in your bowl.

Do garlic fried rice next
Thankyou

Hi. I love your tutorial, it's like being in a friends kitchen. I'm still practicing. Peace✌🏻
Excellent tutorial!!
Crack the egg on a flat surface to avoid it cracking inward and shell gets in there
,and butter to avoid heartattack
awesomee!!!! thank you so much it turned out DELICIOUS ‼️

Me after cooking: well , tastes like egg

I tried and it falls apart.
but I think I need more oil
Korea is always imitating Japan.😂
do other people eat like this too?
i came for the tornado egg, but i'm commenting for the spoon techniques.
The use of spoon and fork seems so much better than the inteded use of the utensils, but the grip on the spoon is a menace

Please give the recipe of garlic rice(?)

Put a little oil on the chopsticks.
the egg won't stick to the chopsticks it keep slipping why is that happening
Is it still runny? Might need to let it cook a little longer first
Is it raw or not?
this is sooo cool man!!! is there a recipe for the garlic fried rice????
Yeah like Uncle Roger says, three ingredients... Garlic, fried, rice 🍚
