If Bruno had played in one of the truly great United teams, winning league titles, winning the European Cup, all whilst putting up the G/A numbers that he has, we'd be talking about him as being one of the best ever. One of the very few bright spots post-Ferguson.
As a Liverpool Fan he is an absolute beast left foot , right foot, headers, short range and long range passing , penalties, vision , long range shots and finishing as a whole all exceptional . I remember the summer of 2019 and Jan 2020 being linked to this guy stronger but never bid for him , things could have been so different . United are really lucky to have this guy, I wont be surprised if he is still playing at the same level at 35, he is really fit and never injured . You guys may not know this but Fernandes has had the most chances created + assists + goals than any other player in Europe since Jan 2020. Fernandes has the most man of the match awards as a midfielder in the same time . I think people don’t give him enough credit the immense number of squandered chances from his team mates is a sign of how good he is . In the last 2 season alone he’s created 200 plus chances but yet on assisted 35 in all competitions. If United had a competent forward that could bury goals he would have had minimum 70 assists by now over the two season .

@@AndrewErebor Jose is currently coaching in Turkey after failing to make CL with Roma. Madrid have the best players in the world in every position, they could be doing anything and it would work. If counter-attacking football was still workking, you'd be seeing more top teams achieve success that way meanwhile I can only think of 1 in the entire Europe other than Real who have moderate level of success playing that way and it's Atletico. If you want to win, you want to control the game and NOT give all control to the opposition. It can work in specific games but not all the time. And finally - the counter-attacking football that worked against Liverpool twice in the last 5 years and that kills City surprisingly often regardless of who's playing them. Deep line counter-attacking setup is Guardiola's kryptonite which is weird but that's the world we live in.
