Don't eat too many donuts, you won't be able to fit in those tight spots 😉😂 lol. Great first day. Stay warm buddy and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wife.
Waste water mechanic here welds quite often , had little knowledge of welding when I started but that didn’t stop me from trying it . I can say we have the same hustle ,young but stubborn to quit . Keep going young fella
Smart move picking up work in the green (or brown lol) energy field. Adapting through these times is what's gonna keep that rig running! Good idea with the unistrut roll out
Good work G. I like staying close to home but when a out of town job with good hrs pop up I usually take it. Family has to eat and the bills don’t pay themselves.
Yoo these videos are clutch ! Realest RUclips channel man no lie. This is authentic 💯 Always enjoy the videos on your channel man I’m rocking with your channel no doubt. Support from all the way in Lancaster, Ca my guy ! 💪🏽
Just run some fuel additives in your truck and your machine. Especially your truck since Diesel fuel will jell up in cold climates👍🏼 Awesome videos man keep up the great work!
I just got a lil 145 Hobart champion tryna upgrade but don’t know if getting an AC and DC machine or DC only bc they both put out like 250 amps but are $2500 price difference, but keep up the good work bro 💯💵😎
Good to see you man! Now you are up in my neck of the woods ... I'm one state over in Michigan. And yeah buddy!! Its been cold out!! Snowed here this past night. Suppose to be low thirties today. Your SA should be fine though. They use them round here and it gets super 🥶.... just like Wisconsin. Happy welding!! 😁
Yeah man. I hear ya on the waking up thing....happens to me on occasion....wondering about the morning and if I'm am as prepared as I can be. If your choke works good.... you should have no real problem. Plus... make sure you have a good battery with good cranking amps.....batteries do not like to work when they get real cold....so make sure you have a good cold weather battery!!!!!
I got my own container business , I weld 6010 no way near as good as you hopefully on a few years I’ll catch up . Anyways thanks for all the tips man really useful .
Where is that at in Wisconsin? I knew there was a farm set up like that in Elk Mound. What you show in that video is nothing as far as Wisconsin snowfall but you will be fine if you dress right and perservere. I don't know if it is commonly done but I bet you could go to Walmart and buy yourself the cheapest Electric blanket in the store, cover the welder with that, then cover the blanket and welder with a tarp. If you plug it in at night I think it would be enough to keep your engine from getting too cold. I am assuming it must be diesel? Diesel definitely still gels here sometimes in the winter even running premium winter blend with additive.
That old sa 200 is one of the best machines to have in cold weather. Been on jobs when it was -30 and the old sa200’s were the only ones that would start. Where’s the work at in Wisconsin?
