Thanks to your fix, I was able to avoid buying a new fan just by lubricating the current one. BTW, your method for popping out the fan propeller was ingenious, it worked like a charm. Thank you so much!
This couldn't have been more helpful! Was skeptical about detaching the blades, but ur technique worked effortlessly. A bit of lubricant on the shaft and the magnets made it even better than before. Thanks again. Love from India 🇮🇳!

Please whoever is hare for the fan problem, please tell me your model and which fan. And I would like to thank you so much for helping us with this video
Have the same exact problem on the same side fan on my Razer Blade 15 2019. It just gotten worse and makes a loud rattling sound after booting. What was the cause of the rattling sound when spinning the fan? It just needed lubricating or could it be completely defective?
I’m new to computers but this video really made it easy for me to understand. I popped out the fan blades, as you said it was very risky and frightened me but it was all good. Though I don’t know where I can get the grease you speak of that needs to be applied. It would be nice if you could link what you are talking about so I can go ahead and buy it. Thanks for the help again!
I tried to remove the impeller from the Lenovo Legion 5 fan. But I did not succeed, I tried to press with my fingers from the back side, resting on the blades, but it did not work, after which the fan began to grind when tilting the laptop. Are there fans that cannot be repaired, or I just did not press hard enough on the blades to get them out? I watched all your videos on fan repair, but maybe I have doubts that the method you showed in the video can be better than the efforts I put in.
You might have bent the metal supports so it's now touching the frame. You might have to replace the fan. A lot of them have a mechanism similar to an arrow head that holds it in place. Some can be so difficult to remove that it breaks the mount trying to remove it, though that's pretty rare if using the right technique. I did one just last night that was very difficult to remove. Video is uploading right now. Will likely be up in about an hour.
