This is a very valuable information. Most of the RUclips videos do not mention naked nymph fishing as you described. So many people do not know these methods. I fish exactly like you describe with sinking poly leaders. The key is casting perfectly straight slightly downstream. In other words, the line should land straight. That way even there are half eddies/currents in between you and the fly, by changing the tip angle of the rod, you can keep the line straight and tight. Also, I suggest not just focused on the holding spots that you highlighted in the video. When you were walking up the run, I saw rocks underwater (darker spots.) They love to hold and feed there too.
A great time to clean all your gear, tie flys or buy them ready for next season and just relax and watch some fishing vids. How did you make out this season Mark?
@@LetsGoFishin60 I fish mainly a small area in the dunk river. always enjoy my time in the river. Got out striper bass fishing for the first time north of St. Peters bay P.E.I. where I grew up.
