All of your palms look great. I’m glad they did so well through the winter
Chris thats no a garden, it's a country park! 😂 everything looking amazing though, doing a cracking job mate 👌👌
Garden looks great, Kris, as always!
It’s looking great Kris, that big linearis is fantastic and your Phoenix is certainly made of tough stuff! Sorry to hear about your polyphylla. Pleased to see you experimenting with different Agaves - it’s worth it for the ones which will make it through to a mature size as they really are so visually impressive and unlikely up here!
I was keeping an eye out for your butyagruspatha 😁
A lot of clean up, overall your garden looks so green, beautiful palms, love those big blue yuccas, thanks for sharing!!!
Still looking good this winter. Looking forward to rhe next video. 👍
So glad you got your priorities right. Garden 1st and kids 2nd. 😂😂 I would not have got away with this😂😂
Looking good ...
Thanks 👍
My phoenix died, gutted, going to replace with an established cerifera
Hi Chris, it’s great to see your garden at this time of year. I’ve seen you remove the cloche over one of your Agaves (I think) so I’ve got a quick question-I’ve got fleece and a cloche over one of my bigger bananas and there is a lot of condensation inside-would I be better to remove it now or leave it for another few weeks? I don’t want it to go to mush 🙂 thanks 🙂
What's your arid bed medium, Kris, pure gravel? Wondering if a raised bed of gravel would have better drainage and less casualties over the winter?? Might take the plunge this year. Your place is looking great as usual.
Pure gravel for 25 to 30cm depth
what palm tree would you recommend for a garden that faces north west that doesn’t get much direct light as there is a house that backs on very closely , would a phoenix canariensis be ok here? i’m from the south west of the UK
Hi Kris, great vid as usual! I've just got a few schefflera taiwaniana's that I want to try grow into a small single stemmed tree, would you recommend trimming these in spring when new growth appears or at the end of the season? Thanks
They really don't need trimming unless you want them to Bush out. Any cut of main stem encourages side shoots
@YorkshireKRIS ah OK, so just leave it then, I ask because the new growth on one looks like multiple shoots so maybe they trimmed in nursery. Thanks
Where did you get the tall plastic cloche that's over the Opuntia at 7 minutes in please?
I'll check, it was from someone who has a business on Facebook
Hi can you tell me the name of your pseudopanax please
There's 2 together, ferox and crassiflorous
